3 GENERAL CATERING AND BANQUET INFORMATION AND POLICIES Food and Beverage In-House Catering Services All food and beverage must be purchased from SMG Evansville. To ensure compliance with Indiana Department of Health concerning food-handling regulations, all food and beverage must be consumed on the premises during the contracted time. None of the food or beverage (leftover) items will be allowed to leave the facility. Beverage Selection & Services We will be pleased to assist in selecting the appropriate beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to complement your menu and event. Standard bar or bartender fees will be assessed according to each event. All alcoholic beverages will be supplied by SMG Catering and must be dispensed by SMG employees in accordance with Indiana Liquor Laws and Regulations. Our alcoholic beverage license requires us to: (1) request proper identification (photo ID with date of birth) of any person of questionable age and (2) to refuse alcoholic beverage to any person who, in our judgment, appears intoxicated. Alcoholic beverages cannot be brought into or removed from the building under any circumstance. Food & Beverage Prices Due to fluctuating market prices, our menu prices are subject to change without notice. Menu prices will be guaranteed for a maximum length of 60 days prior to the event. Events less than 50 will be subject to an additional $ service charge. Guaranteed Attendance A guarantee of attendance is required (7) business days prior to your event. If the number is not received at this time, the estimated number will turn into the guarantee. The guaranteed number is not subject to reduction. If your guest count exceeds the guarantee by more than five percent (5%) after the final numbers are due, we will do our best to provide similar meals for the additional guests and an additional charge of $2.50 per person plus the prearranged per person price. Food/Beverage Proposal and Agreement The proposal and agreement will detail all services arranged for the event and list all applicable terms and conditions that you acknowledge to have read and understood once you have applied your signature. Please read and review these terms carefully. Prices do not include the 19 % Service Charge or 8% Sales Tax 3
4 Deposit and Agreement All functions are required to pay a minimum deposit of 50% of the projected total bill. Such deposit will be due with a signed Food and Beverage Agreement (30) days prior to your event date. The balance of your event must be paid in full (7) business days prior to the event. Any payments received will be forfeited if the client cancels the event less than (5) business days prior to its commencement. All Hosted Bars must be paid in full prior to the event. Any hosted beverages not consumed during event will be reimbursed on final invoice. Liability SMG SAVOR Catering along with any of our facilities, reserve the right to inspect and control all functions. Liability for damages to the premises will be charged accordingly. We will not assume responsibility for personal property or equipment brought on to the property. Tasting Policies and Procedures Entrée tastings only can be scheduled with your Catering Sales Manager once your event has been contracted. Up to two meal choices may be selected with a maximum of four guests served. The charge of the tasting will be added to the final invoice. The cost will be the menu price of the entrée selected. Catering Service Times Breaks: 45 minutes Buffet Service 1.5 hours plated Service: 25 minutes per course Prices do not include the 19 % Service Charge or 8% Sales Tax 4
5 ADDITIONAL CHARGES Service Charge and Sales Tax All services, other than cash sales, are subject to applicable sales taxes (8%) and service charge (19%) of the total food and beverage bill. Tax Exempt If your group is tax exempt please present a current copy of your status along with your signed contract. We only honor tax exempt status in the state of Indiana. Special Request and Rentals For the meal functions, we provide a limited selection of tablecloths and coordinated napkins on a complimentary basis. Additional colors, fabric, and floor-length linens are available on a rental basis. Please note that items on a rental basis need to be ordered one month prior to your event date. Once ordered, amounts requested cannot be reduced even if your guaranteed count is lower than the amount ordered. Increasing amounts will be subject to availability and will incur additional charges. Additional Linen All tables where food and/or beverages are served or displayed will have full linen at no additional cost to the client. Only the area (s) not pertaining to food and beverage service will be charged additional fees. Examples of these areas include registration, vendor booths, DJ Tables, hi-boys, photography, etc. Events that do not serve food items (such as dances) will also be charged for table linen. Tablecloths- $5.00 each Table Skirting- $15.00 (per 13-ft)* *Pricing for the table skirting is based on limited in-house stock. Rental charges for table skirting are at increased pricing. Our Catering Sales Manager will assist you with current pricing upon request. Butler Service Additional catering services such as Butler Service may be arranged through the Catering Sales Manager. Butler Fees start at $25.00 per butler (per 100 people) for Beverage and Hors d oeuvres and are subject to increase based on guest guarantee. Additional Set up services Our basic set up includes: Linen, silverware, china. Should you have additional items you would like for our banquet staff to use during set up (i.e. plate charges, table runners, outside linen or lighting candles the day of the event) there will be an additional service charge. Please speak with our Catering Sales Manager for rates. Cake Service To utilize our cake cutting service for your event please contact our Catering Sales Manager. Cake Cutting Fees start at $75.00 Prices do not include the 19 % Service Charge or 8% Sales Tax 5

Please note that we reserve the right to refuse service of alcoholic beverages to patrons to avoid intoxication. We also encourage you to set up a designated driver program for your event. State law requires an ID to purchase any alcoholic beverage. 9 ALL DAY PACKAGE Starter Breakfast includes sliced fresh seasonal fruits, sweet and savory pastries, fresh bagels with an assortment of preserves and marmalades. Beverages to include; individual apple and orange juices, freshly brewed coffee, Tazo herbal teas, assorted RC products and bottled water. Mid-Morning Break Yogurt Parfait Bar with assorted berries, almonds, honey and granola. Assorted Nature Valley Bars, with a complete refreshment of coffee, teas, RC sodas and bottled water. Lunch The office table luncheons include fresh brewed all iced tea, assorted RC products, and bottled water. **One of our Lunch Buffet choices or Chefs Soup and Salad Bar** Afternoon Break A complete refreshment of coffees, teas and assorted RC soda products and bottled water And a choice of two of the items listed below: Jumbo soft pretzels with caramel and mustard sauces Blondies and Iced Brownies Mixed Nuts Assorted Homemade Cookies Tiny Pretzel Twists Assorted bags of Lay's Ruffles and Onion Dip Prices do not include the 19 % Service Charge or 8% Sales Tax 9
10 Food Bars Our Food Bars are produced for a quick and filling meal with options for all eaters. Adding more items to our food bars is accepted and placed into the final cost. All Food Bars are served with Specialty Dessert unless otherwise changed by client Beverages to include freshly brewed regular and decaf coffee, tea and iced water Pizza Amore Bar Cheese Pizza A mixture of part skim mozzarella and fresh grated parmesan cheeses Vegetable Lovers Pie Pizza topped with bell peppers, olives, tomatoes, mushrooms, and onions Meat Lovers Pie Pizza topped with bacon, pepperoni, sausage and ham Served with warm breadsticks and mini apple turnovers Baked Spud Bar Seasoned and baked Idaho potatoes Options of butter and sour cream cheese, bacon, tomato, shredded lettuce, sautéed onion, green onion, mushrooms, steamed vegetables and jalapenos with chicken, pulled pork, and steak Dessert bars to end the Line.
