By night its private bar, dance floor and DJ booth makes it the ideal space for party people. The Drawing Room includes: Games room complete with table football and board games. There is no hire fee to use our Drawing Room, it s strictly minimum spend plus service charge - so you can save your pennies for the bar! 3 the deco lounge CAPACITY APPROX. 50 The Deco Lounge is a step back into the 1920 s, with its chic styling, vintage comfort and private bar. It is the perfect space for intimate celebrations. The Deco Lounge includes: Private bar Own music system w/ ipod connection (Set up of DJ equipment can be discussed) There is no hire fee to use our Deco Lounge, it s strictly minimum spend plus service charge - so you can save your pennies for the bar! 4 the green room CAPACITY APPROX. 30 If you are looking to be close to the party action, our green room is the area for you. It s private booths, stylish décor and direct access to the dance floor and bar makes it the ultimate spot to enjoy a night out with friends. the loft & hide CAPACITY APPROX. 25 The mezzanine spaces are elevated over the dance floor providing a birds-eye view to all the fun and frolics below. Their comfortable sofas, dim lighting and instagrammable mirror ceilings create the perfect cosy atmosphere for small gatherings and catch ups. There is a 50 hire fee to reserve these areas.

5 the ground floor CAPACITY APPROX. 400 The hire of the Ground Floor includes two mezzanines and the Deco Lounge making it a great space to host showcases, live performances and launch events. The Ground Floor includes: Two private bars DJ booth equipped with CDJs, turntables, 4 channel mixer, PA. Dance floor. Mezzanine. Deco Lounge. Cloakroom. Projectors. There is no hire fee to use our ground floor, it s strictly minimum spend plus service charge - so you can save your pennies for the bar!

8 info FOOD & DRINK MONIES The Big Chill Kings Cross kitchen team have created a selection of delicious party menu for you to choose from, these menus are available on request. We have vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options and all allergen information is available. All food is served at the request of the guest and by our waiting staff. We offer both canapé or buffet style. We have an extensive drinks menu available including craft beers and cocktails, quality wines and spirits. We also have an excellent team of mixologists on hand to advise on bespoke requirements. Food and drink choices and number of guests, must be finalialised a minimum of 14 days prior to your booking. There are no hire fee charges to use any of the spaces at Big Chill Kings Cross. It is strictly minimum spend only. It is the client s responsibility to spend the full agreed minimum spend at the event. All prices include VAT and service charge. A deposit of 20% of the minimum spend is required in order to confirm your event. Deposits can be paid via BACS, credit card (excluding American Express) debit card or cash. The deposit amount will be deducted from your minimum spend on the date of your event, in cases where minimum spend is not reached or damages occur this amount will be retained. If you cancel your booking before the date of the event the deposit is nonrefundable. If you cancel on the day of the event the deposit is non-refundable and you will be charged a cancellation fee which will cover the cost of all the events preordered food and drink. 9 faq COSTS & PAYMENT FOOD & DRINK WHAT IS THE HIRE COST FOR THE ROOMS AT BIG CHILL KINGS CROSS? There is no hire fee we work on a minimum spend basis. Minimum spend varies from room to room and day of the week. WHAT IS A MINIMUM SPEND? We ask that you spend the minimum amount agreed within the specific bar area you hire. In order to reach your minimum spend food and drink must be purchased within your hire area (all pre -ordered food and drink also contributes). Once your party/event has finished we check the tills on your specific bar to see if the spend has been reached. If yes, then nothing is owed however if there is any outstanding balance the difference needs to be settled before you leave the venue. IS SERVICE CHARGE INCLUDED WITHIN THE MINIMUM SPEND? Yes. DO WE NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT? Yes, a deposit of 20% of the minimum spend is required in order to confirm your booking. This can be paid via BACS, credit card (excluding American Express) debit card or cash. WHAT IF WE DON T REACH THE MINIMUM SPEND BY THE END OF THE EVENING? The client is responsible for reaching the agreed minimum spend amount. In cases where the agreed minimum spend is not reached, the client will be liable to pay the outstanding balance between actual spend and agreed minimum spend. I WOULD LIKE TO HOST A MEETING DURING THE DAY FOR A FEW HOURS DOES THE SAME MINIMUM SPEND AS EVENING HIRE APPLY? We have separate daytime hire packages available. Please contact the reservations team for more information. CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD? We are happy for you to bring along a celebration cake however all other substantial food must be supplied by our kitchen. I WANT TO PICK MY OWN MENU, IS THIS POSSIBLE? Yes, we are very flexible, let us know your budget, number of guests and the type of food you are after and we ll give you a choice of menus to meet your requirements. WILL FOOD I PURCHASE CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS MY MINIMUM SPEND? Absolutely, everything you purchase, contributes towards your minimum spend, this also includes all pre-orders. CAN I ORDER FOOD FROM YOUR MENU ON THE DAY? Unfortunately no, all food orders need to be finalised a minimum of 14 days prior to the event. HOW DOES THE FOOD GET DELIVERED? However you choose it to be. Our team of waiting staff are flexible you can choose to have guests served via trays of food or buffet style platters; we will also work with you on timing. I WOULD LIKE A SPECIAL DRINK CREATED FOR MY GUESTS IS THIS POSSIBLE? Yes, we have an expert team of mixologists on hand to advise on drink selections or create a unique tipple from scratch. All drink requests must be finalised a minimum of 14 days prior to the event.

10 faq DECORATION GENERAL CAN I DECORATE THE ROOM? Yes, as long as the paintwork, surfaces and furnishing are not damaged by decorations or fixings, we encourage you to get creative. CAN WE ACCESS THE VENUE EARLIER TO PREPARE THE ROOMS WITH OUR OWN DECORATIONS? Yes, as long as this has been confirmed and a time arranged with the venue prior to the event. WILL BIG CHILL KINGS CROSS SUPPLY STAFF? Yes, we will supply bar staff, waiting staff, chefs, door staff and security at no extra cost. CAN BIG CHILL KINGS CROSS RECOMMEND A DJ? Of course, our little black book of DJs is bursting, you let us know your musical needs and we ll find a match. Please note that DJs are an additional cost. CAN I INVITE UNDER 18 YEAR OLDS TO MY PARTY? Under 18s are welcomed into the venue up until 6pm. After 6pm Sunday Thursday the venue operates a strict over 18s policy and on Fridays and Saturdays over 21s.
