Lupe comes in and makes sure there is enough coffee, cream and sugar for the seniors at lunch time. She refills the containers, makes sure there is enough drinking water and ice and of course cups also. It may not seem like a big deal, but when you have seniors lining up to get their free coffee and tea, it can be challenging at times. Lupe enjoys all the incentives we have here including the evening events such as the dances. Lupe comes to our center because of good friends and people she has met here. She has been a great help to those that have problems carrying their lunch and has gladly assisted them. Thanks Lupe, you re great! Diabetes Roundtable! Having recently retired and looking for a meaningful and helpful way to fill his days, he found the senior center a great fit. Frank started volunteering in July 2014 and he really enjoys the time he spends with our seniors. Frank is very gracious and will pitch in on other days we need him. We are very lucky to have Frank and very thankful for all he does. Volunteers are the heart of the Azusa Senior Center! 5 9
