2 Caterfest operational overview. The company focuses on working with promoters to provide the right balance and variety of quality food offerings that will maximise revenues from the service provided without negating quality. This is achieved by our vast experience within the catering & event management industry. At large events where there is a need to supplement our own range of food offerings we invite other chosen trusted partners to apply for positions to operate at your event or festival.

3 Current trends in ready to eat foods. Recent years have seen the development of a range of produce commonly known as street food. These are often quirky, artisan vendors who offer a diverse range of food offerings to the public. It is considered that the public expect this vast variety of food to be available at every event & location. Our experience allows us to supply the correct products & services tailored to your client demographic, allowing us to surpass their expectations & excel their overall experience at the venue.

4 What we can provide and manage. Caterfest has a significant number of our own & trusted partner street food style vendors available at any time, with our resources in this area growing rapidly. With the mutual agreement of the promoter, emphasis has previously been given to attract and place high turnover commercial food units at events. With the shift in customer expectations, we have developed a more relevant web site - caterfest.co.uk, to actively encourage street food vendors to apply and qualify to become one of our trusted partners catering for your festivals and events.

5 Back stage & VIP catering. To compliment our festival event catering, we also have the ability to offer superior production, back stage & VIP catering options. These range from conventional choices through to collating a team of our artisan street food traders to offer an unsurpassed on-site experience. As with festival front of house catering, we will happily tailor our products to your guests requirements, e.g. vegetarian, vegan, hog roast, Mexican, etc.

7 Caterfest concessions management. In line with the on-going development, a dedicated team of experienced catering concessions management staff have been established to supervise the entire catering operation at festivals and live events. Under the brand name of Caterfest Concessions Management, our dedicated concessions team will deliver the following:- Appoint a dedicated Project Manager to liaise with your event management on all aspects of public catering functionality. Source outlets style-appropriate for the festival / event theme. Ensure all relevant documentation relating to the outlets operation is in order i.e. H&S docs ; food hygiene certs ; risk assessments etc, ensuring that all vendors comply with our stringent trusted partners guidelines at all times. Organise and manage an accreditation team for outlet positioning, festival / event compliance and regular service monitoring, including post event break down, departure & site reinstatement. Ensure all financial aspects are correctly documented & managed throughout.

8 Trusted Partner selection process. The above process has generated a database of some 2000 plus trusted partner food traders that have registered and exceeded our requirements to offer a varied range of foods through your event or festival. Working with the event promoter, we are able to select from this database caterers that will compliment the occasion.

9 Trusted Partner selection process. (cont.) With such a large number of food traders on our database, assessment wise we consider that most outlets fit into one of three basic categories; 1. Street food traders 2. Festival food traders 3. Commercial hi-output facilities

10 Street food outlets. Quirky artisan outlets offering a wide range of diverse foods. Often small, one-person vendors operating out of pop-ups, gazebo s, carts, and small converted retro vehicles. By their very size and operational practice, turnover can sometimes be limited, however they provide a unique level of choice & foodie attraction for the customer.

12 Festival Food Outlets. Bespoke units such as build-ups, marquees, large unique vehicles and similar equipment on a greater scale. Outlets are often with dressed frontage in keeping with a particular festival / event theme. Capable of generating high volume sales, but can often incur sizeable costs on production, installation, and pack-down time.

In conjunction with the Festival management, ensure any major catering brand partners secured by the promoters are given due consideration when siting outlets and meeting accreditation criteria. The introduction of more Street Food areas should create a new, refreshing catering dimension that can be promoted and advertised in advance to Festival goers. With the inclusion of street food vendors supplying those harder to please customers with an even greater choice, their whole experience will exceed all predetermined expectations.
