3 Downton Murder Mystery Experience The hotel and grounds become exclusively yours for a very special murder mystery event. Arrive, settle into your room and take the opportunity to explore the house and grounds before dressing for dinner. Your party could choose to dress Downton style to really set the scene! The murder mystery scenario will be set when all your guests have gathered and the actors will mingle with your guests during pre- dinner drinks to drop hints and be questioned about the murder. During the course of dinner further shock revelations will occur and dramatic scenarios will be plotted. Guests have their chance to put their clues together and guess the murderer during coffee at the end of your five course gala dinner. Will it be big bad bubba the favourite that crosses the line first and wins the treat of the thirsty ferret ale. Test your marksmanship skills on a range of pop-up and static targets worth various points. Hone your shooting abilities with some air-rifle target practice and try a clay pigeon shoot with our experts on hand to offer instruction, advice and guidance. 5 Sublime Stay and Sail Experience Set sail for Buckland with our luxurious Stay and sail package. Arrive at the hotel and enjoy a Devonshire cream tea in the lounge and the afternoon is at your leisure to explore the coastline, pretty fishing village or walks around the area. Dine in our Queen Anne Restaurant that evening before retiring to your room for a restful nights sleep. A good breakfast will set you up for a full day s private sailing experience, learning boat handling skills in the marina with your very own skipper and then setting sail in Plymouth Sound and the River Tamar. Refreshments and lunch will be provided as part of your day and, weather dependant, you will stop to enjoy your lunch on Cawsands, River Tamar or River Yealm. After your action packed day, dinner will be served in the Queen Anne Restaurant and will be A Taste of the Sea, in homage to your adventures out on the water.
