You will be taken on a 2 hour behind the scenes tour (included). The tour covers the history of the lot, which was once home to MGM and is now the headquarters for Columbia Pictures. Walking the history of the studio and going onto a sound stage of a popular TV show are some of the highlights for today. Afterwards, we will drive to Universal Citywalk for lunch and shopping on your own. There are 30 different places to choose from for casual dining along with may different high end to novelty stores to shop at today. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and a jacket today! We ll start off with dinner first at the Knott s Chicken Restaurant. Enjoy buffet-style meal with all the favorites; fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, salad, biscuits, and pie for dessert along with a non-alcoholic beverage. Then it s onto the harbor for our evening cruise. The Huntington Harbour Philharmonic keeps this long tradition going year after year. Bring a cozy blanket and a warm drink aboard during the 45-minute boat ride. The day is yours to enjoy in the quaint Danish town of Solvang. Lunch will be on your own today along with plenty of time for sight seeing and for holiday shopping. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and bring a jacket. Call (626) Advance reservations are forfeited at 11:45 am. Late arrivals will be added to the waiting list. All adults 60 years and older and their spouses are welcome to have lunch. The suggested donation is $1.85 per meal. Guests under 60 shall pay $3.00 per meal. This program is funded in part through Title III of the Older Americans Act as amended by the County of Los Angeles Area Agency on Aging. All meals are served with milk, bread and margarine. Transportation is available to Azusa residents from Azusa Dial-a-Ride. Spend 2 hours exploring the West's largest collection of railway locomotives, passenger and freight cars, buildings and other artifacts dating from the 1870's.
