3 OUR COMPANY Kaptein is the flexible packager and producer of cheese, butter, processed cheese and grated dried cheese. We are a driven, family company who put our rich history to good use. Kaptein delivers a complete end-to-end process for cheese, butter, processed cheese and grated dried cheese. We offer a fast and efficient response to the specific needs of our national and international customers. We focus on four key activities taking place in three different locations: Kaptein BV Heiloo Kaptein BVBA Bilzen Kaptein PCF Oosthuizen : storage and portioning of cheese and butter : production of grated dried cheese : production of processed cheese

CHEESE The highly selective purchasing of cheese for storage takes place in Heiloo. After storage, we cut, grate, grind, powder, package and distribute the cheeses.

Cheese brands Kaptein has 6 different brands of cheese: Alkmaars Roem, Old Alkmaar, Alkmaars Bewust, Alkmaars Speciaal, World of Cheese and Cheese Holland.

6 CHEESE The highly selective purchasing of cheese for storage takes place in Heiloo. After storage, we cut, grate, grind, powder, package and distribute the cheeses. This process is enormously varied, and the options are considerable. Portioned cheese The assortment ranges from 1- to 208-slice packs of sliced cheese; cheese cubes to whole cheeses; and of course cheese of different maturity, packaging type, and brand. Our customers Our main customers are: Non-domestic companies Wholesale Domestic and international retail Industry Our customers wishes are Kaptein s key focus. Cheese brands Kaptein has 6 different brands of cheese: Alkmaars Roem, Old Alkmaar, Alkmaars Bewust, Alkmaars Speciaal, World of Cheese and Cheese Holland. These brands are available in many different packaging formats, ranging from 1- to 208-slice packs, or from a typical Dutch cheese wedge to a whole cheese. Private label Kaptein is the perfect partner in private labelling. We pack a wide range of cheese products under private label brands for various companies across the world. Private labelling is always developed in close cooperation with our customers, ensuring that the product is packaged exactly according to our customer s wishes. Not only can we offer added value with the design concept and printing, we can even take over the complete print process if required.

BUTTER Kaptein s purchasing accuracy ensures we only buy in butter which complies with the highest standards.

Portioned butter We pack butter in cups (in various weights and brands), packs (8,10 and 250 gram), retail packs (10 x 10 gram), rolls (250 and 500 gram) and bulk packs (2 and 5 kg).

In the Kaptein butter factory we pack several own and private label brands, with a range varying from cups and retail packaging to 5 kilo bulk packs. Portioned butter We pack butter in cups (in various weights and brands), packs (8,10 and 250 gram), retail packs (10 x 10 gram), rolls (250 and 500 gram) and bulk packs (2 and 5 kg). Butter brands Echte Boter, our pure butter brand, is available in many different packaging formats: cups, packs, retail packs, rolls and bulk packs. Echte Boter Organic is available in 8 and 10 gram cups, 8 and 10 gram packs and 250 gram packs. Butterdelight is available packed in 8 and 10 gram cups, in the varieties Butterdelight salted, unsalted and 60% butter. Best4Bread is our margarine brand. The margarine is, of course, of excellent quality, 100% vegetarian and is available in 8 and 10 gram cups. Private label Kaptein is the perfect partner in private labelling. We pack a wide range of butter products under private label brands for various companies across the world. Private labelling is always developed in close cooperation with our customers, ensuring that the product is packaged exactly according to our customer s wishes. The Kaptein assortment of grated dried cheese ranges from a 175-gram shaker and a 1-kg bag to a 25 kg paper sack or 500 kg bulk bin. Packaged grated dried cheese We supply grated dried cheese under the Kaptein brand and under the Parmerender brand (175-gram shaker, 1 kg bag, 25 kg paper sack, 500 kg bulk bin).
