Christmas starts at the White Lion as soon as you arrive, as you enjoy a welcome warming drink under the glow of twinkling fairy lights on the tree. Wake from a restful sleep in one of our comfortable, modern bedrooms with the realisation that Christmas morning has finally arrived. Your day will be filled with gifts and laughter, and with the gentle jingle of Christmas carols in the background, a deliciously festive lunch is served in our bar and brasserie. We also love a good party here at the White Lion. Experience a Christmas party like no other as we lead you on to the dance floor, playing all your party favourites. I am very excited to be welcoming back The Fab Beatles, the UK's No.1 Beatles tribute band. This year we will also be joined by pop sensation Tribute act Elton John for two nights only in December and I can assure you it will be a night you and your guests will be talking about for years to come! 3 Christmas Break Christmas starts at the White Lion as soon as you arrive on the Suffolk coast. Our three night Christmas break in Aldeburgh will be full of laughter, great food and unbeatable sea views from 24th - 27th December Festive Breaks Arrive from 2.00pm and indulge in an afternoon tea served in the comfort of our lounge. We start the evening off at 5pm with a 2 minute walk to Aldeburgh Cinema where you will enjoy a short festive film, followed by canapés, carol singers, mulled Aspall cider and mince pies in the foyer before you return back to the hotel. From 7.30pm you will sit down to a sumptuous 5-course dinner served in the splendid Victorian-themed James Cable Room. After dinner, enter into the house party spirit and dance to our live guest band until Midnight. Midnight Mass will be celebrated at the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, five minutes walk from the hotel. Return for a hot beverage or night cap served in the Bar. Wake from a restful sleep in one of our comfortable, modern bedrooms with the realisation that Christmas morning has finally arrived. Your day will be filled with gifts and festive spirit with the gentle jingle of Christmas carols in the background all leading up to a deliciously festive 7 course lunch. On Boxing day a late breakfast is served in the Brasserie from 8-10am. Why not join General Manager Peter Osborne, and fellow dare devils before lunch as they brave the freezing North Sea to raise money for charity at 11am or relax and take a stroll on the beach followed by a delicious 3 course lunch at The White Lion from 12.00pm. Boxing day night will be an informal evening of fantastic food and entertainment from our pianist in the relaxed setting of our Bar & Brasserie. Dinner this evening is your choice from our Bar & Brasserie menu. Thursday 27th morning we say goodbye to our guests after a scrumptious Suffolk breakfast from 8-10am and for those guests staying on come and enjoy dinner this evening in the relaxed setting of our Bar and Brasserie. Prices start from 535pp based on Explorer rooms, seaviews available at a supplement. All prices are based on a full board package and include Bed and Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner during your three night stay. Extra night on the 23rd December for 85 pp B&B.

4 Christmas Eve Dinner Join us on Christmas Eve and get into the true festive spirit with great food and great company. Served in our contemporary Bar & Brasserie from 7:30pm, you will sit down to a sumptuous 5-course dinner with live entertainment from our resident pianist. Afterwards you can enter into the house party spirit and dance to our guest band, in the Victorian-themed James Cable room. 6 New Years Eve Dinner Our New Year s Eve celebration focuses on the pleasures of fine food, fantastic wine and good company. The highlight of the evening is our superb 8-course banquet, and the gastronomic delights begin at 6.30pm with Champagne. The evening is an ideal opportunity for all lovers of food and wine to indulge, dance and welcome in 2015 with a sense of occasion. We will have a piper to see in the New Year.
