10 Terms and Conditions Essential Information About Your Event FUNCTION BOOKINGS AND CONFIRMATION Function bookings are only confirmed and secured upon receiving a deposit. Courtyard functions require a $500 deposit within 7 days of making a tentative booking. Restaurant and Cocktail bar functions require a $100 deposit within 7 days of making a tentative booking. The deposit for all function, will be taken off the final bill at the end of the event. Confirmation of both guests numbers and set menu no later than 7 days prior to the date of the event. Courtyard functions are subject to minimum numbers. CANCELLATIONS All function cancellations must be discussed with management. If a cancellation is made 21 days prior to the function the deposit will be refunded in full, less any costs incurred on your behalf. If a cancellation is received less than 21 days prior to the function date, the deposit amount will be retained by BARENZ. PAYMENT All function deposits are required within 7 days of making a tentative booking. Final payment is due on the day of the event either by Cash and EFTPOS. Direct Debit will only be accepted if organized with Management beforehand. MINIMUM GUEST REQUIREMENTS Restaurant and Cocktail Bar functions are not restricted to a minimum spend. Courtyard functions are restricted to minimum numbers; Friday and Sunday is minimum 45 guests Saturday lunch is minimum 45 guests Saturday night is minimum 65 guests LICENSE RESTRICTIONS & MINORS BARENZ reserves the right to refuse entry or service to any function guests. BARENZ adheres to strict Responsible Service of Alcohol rules and regulations and requires that all guests respect and adhere to these laws in relation to intoxication and responsible behaviour at all times. If you have minors attending your function please discuss this with management prior to the event. Minors attending a courtyard function are to remain in the courtyard area at all times. 18 th Birthday functions in the courtyard, are subject to the BARENZ 18 th policy form that is to be signed and returned by a parent or guardian before a deposit will be processed. Minors are not allowed to attend functions in our cocktail bar after 5pm. COURTYARD FUNCTION HOURS The use of our courtyard area will cease at 5pm for all afternoon functions and midnight for evening functions and 10pm on Sunday night. Any other times requests can be discussed with management. Last drinks will be called no later than 11:30pm for all functions and venue guests on Friday and Saturday nights. DECORATIONS Decorations are permitted subject to the approval of BARENZ management GENERAL All prices shown include GST and are current at the time of printing but are subject to change. Cakes can be brought into the venue and will incur an additional cost for a staff member to cut, slice and serve. Under no circumstances is any function allowed to bring food or beverage into the venue. Any special request must be organized and approved by management prior to the function.
