2 FACILITY FEES P a g e 2 The facility fee includes use of our property for a five-hour event (excluding setup). Also included are wedding coordination services to help you through the planning process and make sure your wedding day is seamless. A typical wedding celebration begins when your guests arrive at our gazebo with panoramic views of Lake Havasu. After the ceremony, guests transition to our open-air poolside terrace for a cocktail hour where they can stay for dinner and dancing or move over to our tented, climate-controlled pavilion. Our bartenders and servers will take care of all your food and beverage needs. Additionally, our golf course, beach and pool area are accessible to you for a private personalized photo session with your photographer. Our Relaxation Room is available up to five hours before the ceremony for the bridal party. Golf car limousine service is available from the parking lot to the gazebo for those guests who have impaired mobility. Let us help you design the perfect wedding of your dreams. 10 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS P a g e 10 Do you have any noise ordinances? Yes, all music must end at 10:00 p.m. What types of beverages are allowed? We have a full liquor license and we are able to serve wine, sparkling wine, bottled beer, draft beer, cocktails and soft drinks. Due to state liquor laws you may not bring in any outside alcohol. Do you host more than one wedding at the same time? No, we only host one wedding per day. Can I contract my own vendors? The Refuge will provide the food, dessert, beverages and rentals for the wedding. You are welcome to contract directly any other professional vendors. Typically, you will need to find a photographer, videographer, florist, and reception musicians, as well as an officiant for the ceremony. Some of these vendors can be booked through the Refuge, but it is not required. Ask your wedding coordinator for a preferred vendor list. Is there a cake-cutting fee? No, we will cut your wedding cake for no additional charge. Please bring your own serving utensils and boxes for leftover cake. The Refuge is not responsible for cake left after your event and it will be thrown away. When are payments due? The non-refundable facility fee is required to permanently reserve a date. No other payment is due until ten days prior to the wedding. Do we need an appointment to view the property? We are open seven days a week, however appointments are recommended. What charges are subject to the 20% service fee and sales tax? All charges are subject to the 20% service fee and current sales tax. What is the Refuge s guest capacity? The Refuge can accommodate weddings of 10 guests to 300 guests.
