2 Gelato Making Class Event Looking for a unique and memorable event? Get your guest involved in making the gelato flavors you love. In the Gemelli Gelato Lab, every guest will learn about the history of gelato making, the balancing of the ingredients and experience the whole gelato making process hands-on. The class will take place in the kitchen and the group will split up into teams to make two gelato flavors of the event host s choice. The gelato making process will be streamlined with some light prep work done beforehand to save time. While the last flavor is in the gelato machine the guests will learn a brief history of gelato and have a Q&A session with the chef. The class will be about minutes. We will cater the premium gelato, decadent toppings, & attentive service, you supply the gelato lovers. 4 Gemelli Dessert Café Terms & Conditions PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS: ROOM OCCUPANCY Private room can accommodate a maximum of 16 people total. This total includes all adults if a child s party is taking place. For example, if a party has 14 children in attendance, only 2 adults can be present in private room. All attendees of the event must be able to fit in side party room, including parent s of children in attendance. A fee of $150 an hour will be applied if totals exceed private room limits or members of event occupy back of store. Private room: up to 16 people Back of store: up to 35 people To rent the back of the store an hourly rate of $150 an hour will be applied in addition to per person package selected GUEST COUNT Upon scheduling your event, an approximate guest count must be given. Should this number increase or decrease, please advise us at your earliest convenience. Please note that final charges will be based on the final guest count or minimum guest count listed on final contract, whichever is greater. *Minimum age for all rentals is 8 years old DECORATIONS Decorations are welcomed, however nothing can be taped, pinned or hung on the walls or ceiling. Decorations must be provided and setup by event host. All paperware products provided by Gemelli are white. Event host is welcome to bring their own themed partyware. Gemelli Dessert Café is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged personal items. OUTSIDE DESSERTS adequate time to source ingredients needed. SMALL SAVORY SNACKS & BYOB GUIDELINES You are allowed to bring your own savory small finger foods and soft drinks. Example: pretzels, chips, cheese tray, vegetable platter, pizza, etc. No sternos and no outside desserts. Gemelli does not serve alcohol. If guests are over the age of 21, you are welcome to bring your own alcohol for event. Please let us know if you plan on bringing your own alcohol at the time of booking event. Host responsible for barware. EVENT DURATION The event duration and times is listed on final contract. If you need or use the room for more time than what is specified, additional charges may apply in the amount of $45/hour. SETUP & CLEANUP reserves the right to charge an appropriate cleaning fee if the condition of the area after an event deems this necessary at the amount of $45. PARKING The borough of West Chester has two public parking garages, one being right behind Gemelli on High Street. Metered parking is also available on Market Street, as well as on surrounding streets. CONTRACT To reserve your date, we require a signed contract plus $100 deposit for all event reservations. CANCELLATION POLICY If need be, you may cancel your contract seven days prior to the date of your event and you will obtain a full refund of the deposit. If you cancel your contract less than seven days prior to your event, you will forfeit your deposit. In the event, Gemelli Dessert Café has to reschedule due to acts of god, we will work with you to find a suitable date or issue a full refund of the deposit. PAYMENT The balance is due at the conclusion of your event.
