2 Congratulations On Your Engagement! Watford Colosseum menus are fresh innovative and constantly changing to reflect seasonality. All our ingredients are locally sourced wherever possible. On the following pages you will find our pre designed dinner menus for events. Should you have something more specific in mind, our General Manager and Head Chef will be happy to tailor-make a menu for you. We are happy to cater for any special dietary requirement. Our dishes may contain nuts or nut products. 3 Civil Wedding Ceremony The Watford Colosseum is perfect for hosting the whole day in one venue. Spacious, contemporary and highly adaptable accommodation conveniently located in the heart of Watford with ample parking. The Watford Colosseum offers a variety of rooms to hold civil partnership ceremonies, our spacious facilities mean we can host from 30 up to 600 people for the wedding breakfast and up to 1400 for the ceremony. Charges for the Ceremony are paid direct to the County Council and not included in our wedding ceremony charge; however each area costs the same (excluding the Auditorium) so choose a special wedding place that best suits you. Capacity Chart for guests attending the ceremony THE AUDITORIUM THE FORUM RESTAURANT THE GRAND LOBBY 1400 seated 200 seated 150 seated The Auditorium offers couples the options to be married on the stage, meaning a possible 1400 people could be invited to watch the ceremony. Order of Proceedings: Ask the guests to arrive at least 30 minutes beforehand. 30 minutes before the wedding the groom will have his interview, a room will be provided free of charge, during this time guests should make their way to your chosen room for the Ceremony. 15 minutes before, the bride will be interviewed (usually unseen by the groom). Registrars will then make their way to the chosen room so we can begin. Guests will be asked to stand for the entrance of the bride. There are usually 3 pieces of music to be chosen, one for the brides entrance, secondly after the service at the signing of the register and finally as the newlyweds leave the room. 3
