1 From our Family to Your s...welcome to Genovese s! Growing up in a Sicilian family, food and the love for life are one. From little girls helping Mom and Grandma in the kitchen every Sunday, Birthday or Holiday, was always an event and some of the best family times we remember. Living in an Italian neighborhood in New York, we grew up in the restaurant business knowing what real Italian food is. Ever since we can remember, we ve been in a kitchen cooking or serving food. It was always exciting to see the smiles and to hear the comments of how delicious everything is. Enjoying nothing better than to make people happy, operating a restaurant seemed to be the right career for us. Sharing the same heritage and passion for great food, we worked together operating a family restaurant in Las Vegas for over 30 years. Working together for those 30 years created a relationship that sister is more accurate than friend. Audrey went on to be the Head Chef featured in numerous TV cooking shows in Las Vegas and in Arizona. After some of our family members moved to Prescott, we soon came to town for a visit. Falling in love with the people and pace of life, we decided to find Our Italian Restaurant in Prescott instead of Las Vegas. After years of waiting for the right location, Genovese s became available. Audrey brought her awesome recipes which has won the Best Italian Restaurant in Prescott award. The rest of our family also moved to Prescott adding to the restaurant staff once again making it a family affair.
