2 FUNCTIONS WELCOME TO THE SHEPHERDS AND AUCTIONEER We have long been considered a venue of choice, with a well-deserved reputation for providing quality fine foods and a friendly service. Our flexible facilities offer you the ideal place to either celebrate an important event or host business and corporate meetings. Whatever the event, our enthusiastic and expert staff are on hand to help tailor your celebrations to your individual needs. Our attention to detail combined with delicious, freshly prepared, locally sourced food means that you and your guests cannot help but be impressed with the hospitality we have to offer.

3 THE PERFECT VENUE, WHATEVER THE OCCASION From small, intimate gatherings to larger events, we can cater for many types of occasion. We have two function rooms: The Auctioneer Suite holds up to 100 guests, with The Shepherds catering for up to 500. We also have a small meeting room available: The Bidders Room holds up to 24 people for smaller parties or meetings. Both of our function rooms are suitable for: Dinners, receptions and parties Gala and charity evenings Fashion shows Shows and exhibitions Presentation and award evenings Corporate meetings Weddings, civil partnerships Funerals and christenings FUNCTION ROOM FEATURES The Auctioneer suite is a sophisticated venue, perfect for a variety of functions. Our rooms are tastefully decorated and we also offer seat covers and bows to match the colour scheme of your event. Mood effect lighting is available in our Auctioneer Suite and this feature will certainly set your event apart! Our Auctioneer Suite also offers the use of an elegant private room which the party organiser can use as a dressing room. For that extra special occasion we lay out the red carpet for your VIP guests! With air conditioning in both rooms, our function suites provide a comfortable environment. Both function rooms have disabled access. Our helpful staff will be on hand to set up any audio visual equipment required for your meeting. Free Wi-fi is available in all our rooms. Outdoors, our Lakeland Stone waterfall feature proves popular for photographic opportunities and during the summer months the area is ablaze with roses and decorative shrubs. With our outdoor seating area, you can sit back and enjoy the sunshine. There is ample parking available for cars and coaches. 6 BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS A booking only becomes acceptable when a letter of confirmation has been received and acknowledged. Final numbers must be given, and arrangements finalised, 48 hours prior to the function, and it must be fully understood that organisers are responsible for payment for the final numbers quoted (plus any meal served in excess of that number) whether or not the expected number attend. A cancellation fee will be charged if a booking is cancelled. FUNCTION ORGANISERS - PLEASE NOTE Bottle draws are illegal, and are not permitted on the premises. If bottles do form part of a prize list or tombola draw, we would suggest that vouchers are given as prizes, and arrangements made for the collection of the bottle prizes at a later date. Under no circumstances may drinks of any kind be brought into the premises. The information below is for guidance only and our helpful staff are happy to discuss possible layouts with you in advance.
