5 Research finding 2 People are proud of their foodculture and eager to share it Belgian people don t know the real Turkish pizza, most Turkish pizza s sold are not the traditional ones eh,..., I tell the pizza we have is the real one. Likes it when Belgian people visit the shop and ask what she sells and how they can prepare it. I always explain them what my mom used to make of us. Turkish Nigerian
6 Research finding 3 Interested in other foodcultures but there are barriers to explore them While travelling in Asia she took a cooking class in Thailand. Now she visits the Thai shop in the Asian street to make those dishes. Loves the idea of going to the different cultural neighborhoods in her city but thinks they are to far and she doesn t know which ones are the good ones

I moved to Delft 2 years ago from Taiwan to study industrial design. Children don t like the dish because parents tell them teachers punish children by smashing their fingers with bamboo pipes. My mom used to say: If you don t behave you will have to eat Bamboo stir fry! Find out more on DISCOVER THE FLAVORS OF YOUR CITY We usualy eat this dish together with a lot of other small dishes. Bamboo stir fry (4p) gram fresh bamboo shoots gram slices pork - 3 tlp autentic taiwanese soysauce - 2 tlp chinese rice wine vinegar gram rice - 1tlp oil 1. Boil the rice 2. Slice the pork and Bamboo shoots (see picture for size) 3. Heat the oil in a very hot cooking pan 4. Put in the sliced pork 5. Poke with your chopstick to feel when its cooked, its needs to be medium rare. 6. Put in the sliced bamboo shoots 7. Stir them all together for 1 minute 8.
