1 Brown Marmorated Stink Bugs and Common Look-Alikes Paul Botch Department of Entomology Michigan State University Objective Provide identification tips to reliably distinguish the new invasive pest brown marmorated stink bug () from look-alike native stink bugs of Michigan. Life Cycle 1

The Onespotted Stink Bug, Euschistus variolarius (Palisot de Beauvois). 7 species total in Michigan. Habitat: Meadows, golden-rod, mullein, woodlots. Appearance: No banding on antennae or legs. Rounded or pointed shoulders. Length mm. Brown Stink Bugs Euschistus spp. Genus of brown stink bugs includes: The Brown Stink Bug, Euschistus servus (Say).
