1 GRAND RIVER CONSERVATION AUTHORITY ORDER FORM for TREES/SHRUBS The Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA) promotes the planting of trees as an integral part of our work to restore the natural environment. Trees and forests protect water quality in our rivers and streams. They provide habitat for birds and animals and they add to the health of our communities by purifying the air. ELIGIBILITY: Landowners residing in the Grand River watershed with more than 1 hectare (2.5 acres) of land are eligible to order trees. Tree orders can be reserved starting in the beginning of October through to the end of March. Trees pick-ups occur every spring starting approximately the 3 rd week of April until the 2 nd Wednesday in May (depending on seasonal weather conditions). Landowners with more than 2 hectares (5 acres) of land may also be eligible for help developing a planting plan, planting services, and grants to offset the costs of trees. The minimum order size shall be 200 seedlings or 20 saplings, whips and/or potted. 5. Trees/shrubs shall not be planted within 15 metres of a residence. 2. A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 must accompany each order. 6. Plant material is non-returnable. 3. Full payment less deposit must be received prior to the time of pick-up. (Invoices will be sent out in early spring). 4. The GRCA does not guarantee the survival of plant material, but will ensure that its activities in handling and storage are done properly. 7. Prices listed in this document do not include HST. 8. Product availability is subject to change without notice. I, the undersigned, herby acknowledge the terms and conditions of the supply of plant material and agree to abide by these rules. I agree to pay the Grand River Conservation Authority the full amount of this order prior to receiving these materials.
