1 Farm to Table PRE-ORDERS DUE IN NO LATER THAN 3PM MONDAY. The market is in limbo; a lot of product is still in the ground, and supplies are irregular. Please bear this in mind for next week. At the Market... Chive Blossoms (Jaime Farms) are STILL in good supply Mara De Bois Strawberries from Harry s have great flavor, pre-order to guarantee you get them while they last. Pea Tendrils from Windrose are beautiful, especially as supplies are dwindling elsewhere. We were very limited this week, but will hopefully be stronger next week. Sugar Snap Peas were best from Jimenez Organic Farms this week. We will bring some in for next week. Pea Blossoms from Windrose Mulberries continue to be hot commodity at Pudwill AND Forbidden Fruit. THEY ARE PRE-ORDER ONLY. Popping up at the Market Check out the Patty Pans from Valdivia Maggies has beautiful Spigarello coming in next week Their Persian Cress is also gorgeous! Cauliflower is the craziest, with prices spiking at 50% higher than a couple of days ago and slated to go even higher over the weekend; Iceberg and Romaine also are up but not quite so drastically. Onions: new crop out of Mexico and Brawley is having a depressing effect on pricing; Brown Onions are off this week and will continue to get cheaper next week. Citrus Limes: currently being imported from eastern Mexico with good green color, but very light supplies. Price remains high.
