Indeterminate plant with large pink fruit. Also comes in yellow and red. The yellow often get gray wall. May be most well-known heirloom tomato. Johnny's Selected Seeds, Tomato Grower's Supply, Sieger's Seed Company, Southern Exposure Seed Exchange. Note# Since these are open-pollinated varieties, many are also available from other companies or individuals. Some have developed their own strains of a certain variety. Most heirlooms, especially the larger-fruited varieties, are extremely susceptible to cracking. So most growers will find it best not to water or fertilize heavily when there is fruit on the plants. Big Zebra 85 days. S to Bacterial leaf spot, FCR and TYLC. Indeterminate plant. Red and green striped, with some yellow as it ripens. Larger than Green Zebra; more like an irregular 4X5 tomato. Tomato Grower's Supply. Cherokee Purple 80 days. S to Bacterial leaf spot and TYLC. Indeterminate plant. A purple/black with green shoulders. Not as large fruit as some other heirlooms, but often more productive plants. Excellent sweet flavor. Johnny's Selected Seeds, Tomato Grower's Supply, Sieger's Seed Company, Southern Exposure Seed Exchange. Green Zebra 75 days. S to Bacterial leaf spot, FCR and TYLC. Indeterminate plant. Small firm fruit with light green and dark green stripes, ripens to yellow stripes. Tart flavor, but excellent color contrast for heirloom mixes. Johnny's Selected Seeds, Southern Exposure Seed Exchange. (Juane) Flamme 70 days. S to Bacterial leaf spot, FCR and TYLC. Indeterminate plant. It is a very small orange tomato (probably about a 6X7 size) and is very soft and fragile when ripe. One of the best tasting tomatoes among all heirlooms. Tomato Grower's Supply. Prudens Purple 67 days. S to Bacterial leaf spot, FCR and TYLC. Indeterminate plant. Fruit
