Fruit Size: Good for season. Averages 58-64mm, Sizes 40's. In California we have been able to hang over 900 fruit/tree without losing size. Shape: Round-to slightly elongated. Skin: Smooth finish. Purple, becoming purple-black when ripe. Shoulders slow to color. Flesh: Bright, yellow flesh, red bleeding in from perimeter. Flavor: Mildly-sweet, very juicy with crisp texture. High sugar (16-17 brix), with fruity aroma when ripe. Tart skin. Post Harvest: Firm, has held 6 weeks in storage. No shrivel problems. Some growth cracks and air pockets but has not affected productivity in California. Chill/Bloom: 600 C.H. mid-season bloom (average full bloom Feb 26 in Bakersfield). Shape: Round, very uniform. Skin: Smooth dark burgundy finish. Susceptible to thrips. Flesh: Bright watermelon-red flesh as fruit matures. Flavor: Mildly sweet, crisp-juicy texture, brix with mediumlow acidity, neutral flavor and mild skin. Post Harvest: Firm with outstanding storage and shelf-life. No shrivel problem. Production: Very consistent and productive. Chill/Bloom: 700 C.H./ Late mid-season; Full bloom March 7 in Bakersfield. Pollination: Suplumthirtysix, Suplumfortysix, Suplumthirtynine.
