Maximum Rainfall 206 mm is recorded at Khatak Chincholi, Bhalki Taluk, Bidar District. Mandya Hobli in Mandya District has recorded the Maximum Temperature of 33.8 C over the State. Ponnampet Hobli in Kodagu District has recorded the Minimum Temperature of 17.6 C over the State. Maximum temperature in the range of 32 C to 34 C recorded in some parts of Ramanagara, Mandya, Mysuru, Uttara Kannada, Kolar, Tumakuru & Chamarajanagara districts. RELATIVE HUMIDITY: MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY of 0% of geographical area in the State recorded Minimum Relative Humidity is less than 25%. Minimum Relative Humidity is recorded in parts of Kalaburagi, Bidar, Yadgir & Mandya districts. MAXIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY of 80% of geographical area in the State recorded Maximum Relative Humidity is above 90%. 22 High - Wave Alert for Karnataka Coast Strong on-shore winds from Westerly to Northwesterly direction speed occasionally reaching kmph likely along and off Karnataka coast. Heavy rain is also likely to occur at one or two places over Coastal Karnataka. DAILY EARTHQUAKE REPORT AS ON (From 10:30 am of to 10:30 am of ) 1. Epicenter Region: 143km ESE of Katsuura, Japan; Date: Origin Time: 23:09:2016:00:24:40 (Coordinated Universal Time) Origin Time: 23:09:2016:05:54:40 (Indian Standard Time). Depth: 10 km; S-P: 823 sec. Epicentral Distance: 6,666 kms. (From Nearest at Kalburgi Site Observatory) Magnitude: 6.2 Latitude: (N); Longitude: (E). Note: The above earthquake is recorded at 13 sites of Master Control Centre (MCC), KSNDMC Permanent Seismic Monitoring Station Network, i.e., at Kalburgi Site, Raichur, Almatti Dam Site, T.B. Dam Site, Hidkal Dam Site, T.G.Halli Dam Site, Chitradurga Site, Supa Dam Site, Gundal Dam Site, Linganmakki Dam Site, K.R.S Dam Site, Hemavathy Dam Site and Harangi Dam Site. NOTE: The above Earthquake as reported by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center (PTWC) & Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS), Hyderabad being the authorized organisations towards monitoring & issue of alerts for Tsunamis in the Pacific, Hawaai & Indian Oceans evaluated the above events at 143km ESE of Katsuura, Japan is SAFE based on historical Earthquake, Tsunami data & observed Sea level changes.
