2 OUR STOR If you think that Street Food is a recent European discovery then you might be surprised to learn that our founder, Sai-chiu Van, started making spring rolls in his own cellar in 199. His first customer a street vendor. Word of his exotic spring rolls soon grew and in 1961 he opened his first factory in Copenhagen to keep up with demand. Only three years later he had outgrown his existing premises and opened a new facility. At the same time he launched the famous brand, Daloon, which translates into English as, The Great Dragon. Daloon entered the UK market as far back as The Newark plant was opened in 1983 and incorporated automated spring roll equipment that Van himself invented a few years earlier.
