A clean, crisp wine of exceptional quality SANCERRE, DOMAINE ROLAND TISSIER LOIRE, FRANCE The grassy, zesty green fruit, and mineral notes of this Sancerre beg to be savoured with shellfish. 20 DOMAINE DE L EPINET VIRE ECLESSE BURGUNDY, FRANCE Delicately fruity and honeyed on the nose, lively and aromatic on the palate, this wine reveals appealing notes of oatmeal and apple blossom. 21 DOMAINE DES BERTHIERS POUILLY FUME LOIRE, FRANCE A superb example of a rich and complex sauvignon blanc. Lemon peel and inviting citrus notes complement its flinty minerality. 22 WILLIAM FEVRE CHABLIS 1ER CRU VAILLONS BURGUNDY, FRANCE The limestone soil of the Côte des Vaillons produces a wine with a lovely mineral freshness, both rounded and generous on the palate TERUZZI & PUTHOD VERNACCIA DI SAN GIMIGNANO TUSCANY, ITALY From the most revered producer in the region, who saved the vernaccia grape from extinction, this is an elegant wine with crisp green apple, salty and savoury notes MICHEL CHAPOUTIER CONDRIEU INVITAIRE RHONE, FRANCE Made from viognier grown in granite soil, this is a refined fruit-forward wine with hints of apricot and violet. 5 REDS REDS 24 TEMPRANILLO, FINCA FABIAN LA MANCHA, SPAIN Everything that a Spanish red should offer at this price point: juicy fruit, soft round tannins, a fresh palate and a deliciously long finish HUNTER S MARLBOROUGH PINOT NOIR MARLBOROUGH, NEW ZEALAND A wealth of rich ripe plum and dark cherries paired with mild spicy oak create a smooth, medium-bodied pinot noir STOBI VRANEC TIKVES, MACEDONIA Vranec is the signature red grape from Macedonia. Morello cherry, crushed blackberry, roasted coffee and liquorice can be all found in this velvety smooth wine CABERNET SAUVIGNON, DANCING CROW CALIFORNIA, USA Presenting dark red fruit and spice flavours supported by velvety tannins, this is a classic cabernet from the Red Hills of Lake County PASSITIVO PRIMITIVO (APPASSIMENTO), PAO LO L EO TORRES SALMOS PRIORAT (GARNACHA/ CARIÑENA/SYRAH) PUGLIA, ITLAY The warmth of Italy, with hints of baked red fruits, black cherry and blackcurrant on the nose, rounded off with fine spices. 27 DOM MARTINHO TINTO ALENTEJO, PORTUGAL An abundance of aromas from ripe berry fruits, with good levels of acidity and a unique freshness. 28 CHÂTEAU HAUT MONPLAISIR TRADITION CAHORS CAHORS, FRANCE Malbec grown in this area is known as the black wine of Cahors for its deep colour. Intensely aromatic on the nose, with beautiful notes of blackberry and pepper PRIORAT, SPAIN Dark cherries and dried prunes are beautifully framed by French oak in this stylish wine. Finely structured tannins give softness and a touch of toast and cocoa adds complexity. 33 CANTINA NEGRAR AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO VENETO, ITL AY Specialists in the drying of grapes, Cantina Negrar produces an Amarone that is considered among the finest expressions of the wine velvety smooth but with underlying power. 34 DOMAINE JESSIAUME SANTENAY 1ER CRU LES GRAVIÈRES ROUGE SHIRAZ, CAPEL VALE, MARGARET RIVER MARGARET RIVER, AUSTRALIA Rich, full and powerful, with, spicy black fruits and firm, fine-grained tannins BURGUNDY, FRANCE This premier cru delivers tantalising cherry and plum aromas.
