1 CHAMPAGNE Pommery Pop NV 270 Made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir & Pinot Meunier and blended to a soft, balanced style. A single serving of 187 ml Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Yellow Label NV 1100 A perfect example of harmony between delicacy and power. This wine has an intense, pleasant fragrance, with fruit and brioche notes. Well-balanced and pleasantly fresh to taste, with a remarkable structure. DOM Pérignon Brut Rosé This beautiful rose with a nose of crystallised fruit and hints of fresh bread leads on to a flavorful palate of red cherries and strawberries. The finish is long and luxurious. Laurent Perrier Brut Rosé 1700 A fairly deep salmon-pink color enhanced by a long stream of fine bubbles. Clear and wonderfully fresh, reminiscent of red and black fruit like raspberries, black cherries and blackcurrants. The first impression is the freshness of the fruit. The sensation is rounded and supple and remains on the palate METHODE CAP CLASSIQUE Glass Pierre Jourdan Cuvée Brut NV A classic blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Crisp, complex and rewarding on the palate. The lime characteristics of the Chardonnay are leading and well-backed by the complexity of the Pinot Noir. Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Lovely red berry aromas intertwine with sweet baked apple and a delicious sour dough yeasty complexity. Very sophisticated. Teddy Hall Blanc de Blanc Brut As befits a fine bubbly, this Blanc de Blanc is full of vigorous bubbles carrying the Chardonnay's fruit and yeasty, fresh baked flavours on the palate. Graham Beck Brut Rosé NV Pale silver pink. A lively mousse but fine in the mouth. Flirtatious and fun, yet elegant and structured. Tasty, full of character wine combining brioche richness with fruity charm of fresh-picked red berries.

2 CHARDONNAY Glass Bartinney Chardonnay The wine displays a bouquet of lifted apricot blossom, lemon and suggestions of biscuity oak. The palate shows prominent pineapple and yellow fruit characters, interlaced with chalky acidity. The wine is creamy and nutty with a soft refined palate and finished with great acidity Dorrance Cuvée Anais Chardonnay Hints of orange zest with nuttiness, lime and white pear on the nose, poised with good use of wood, tangy acidity, good length with a mineral elegant finish. Mont Rochelle Miko Chardonnay This is the flagship wine in honor of the owner. Straw yellow rim with nutty nuances and citrus peel undertones. Judicious use of coopers results in good balance between fruit and wood. Glen Carlou Quartz Stone Chardonnay Pale yellow- green. Note of peach and tropical fruit hint of orange marmalade, distinctive toast Oak in the background. The palate has flavour of dried fruit and minerality finish. CHENIN BLANC Dorrance Kama Chenin Blanc Showing exceptional concentration & complexity, through no shortness of richness & purity. Rich palate with ripe tropical fruit flavor, great wine to go with food. De Trafford Chenin Blanc V 450 This is a unique one-off production of 4 vintages of De Trafford Chenin Blanc. The nose shows dried apricots, honey, nuts and damp hay with some spicy oak. Shows wonderful nutty richness without losing fruit core, developing with great interest in the glass. Versatile food wine excellent with rich fish and seafood dishes, as well as most subtle white meats or simply on its own Teddy Hall Hendrick Biebouw Chenin Blanc 12 GWG 980 French oak barrique for natural fermentation and aged for 12 months. Bright golden hue, ripe fruit salad nose, opulent flavours, great finesse and a long finish.

3 SAUVIGNON BLANC Glass Seven Steps Sauvignon Blanc The wine displays a fine balance of fruit and acidity. It shows a palate that is well rounded, a flinty mineral core and a clean enduring finish. The wine provides complexity and elegance, and will age well. The wine was left on the lees for 4 months, adding richness and a full mouth feel. Warwick Professor Black Sauvignon Blanc The wine shows an abundance of tropical fruit, pear, grapefruit, litchi and green fig flavours on the nose that carry through to the palate. The mouthfeel is mineral, crisp yet rich, fruity and coats the palate evenly. Nederburg Private Bin D234 Sauvignon Blanc Green-tinged with hint of yellow. Pungent gooseberry and asparagus notes. The palate is intense and herbaceous. Cut grass, nettle notes, dense and grippy. VIOGNIER Anura Viognier A rich, full wine with marmalade, honey and fresh peaches as well as orange blossom flavours integrated with subtle toasty French oak aromas. The wine has a creamy mouth feel with apricot flavours on the aftertaste. SEMILLON Fairview Oom Pagel Semillon All the Semillon is from a single bush vine vineyard near Darling on the West Coast. Slight golden hue in the glass due to barrel and bottle fermentation. Hints of lime on the nose with a touch of minerality. The palate is rich, textured and has good length. This wine shows lovely structure and good oak balance. This is a limited production handcrafted wine. Landau Du Val Semillon This 100% Semillon from bush vine is a must have if you enjoy bold, full, rich wine that has a great balance of fruit versus wood. Lovely gold color, with notes of ripe fruit and vanilla fudge. The palate is full, rich and complex This is a wine that is best served with food; curry is a good partner to this stunning wine.

4 GEWÜRZTRAMINER Glass Villiera Gewürztraminer This Gewürztraminer is typically aromatic with intense lychee character and floral - rose petal - undertones. It is rich and ripe with a soft finish ensuring good balance. Simonsig Gewürztraminer Golden straw colour. On the nose the wine shows elegant floral and litchi flavours with hints of rose petals and lime. The richness and complex layered flavours of the late harvest grapes, well balanced with an elegant freshness. Paul Cluver Gewürztraminer Delicious litchi rose petal and honeysuckle aromas on the nose that carry through to mouth, which is bursting with fruit flavour through to a lovely long clean finish. RIESLING Glass Thelema Riesling Unwooded German-style Riesling with a fragrant spicy nose and delicately balanced sweetness and acidity. This wine is dry with a hint of sweetness, and lower alcohol. Will develop complexity with cellaring. Meinert Riesling A lovely fresh floral, quince, lime and spanspek nose, while the sugar and acid are well matched. The lees contact has fattened the mouthfeel and the wine leaves a pleasing crisp fruity aftertaste. Groote Post Riesling This vintage hints at a subdued floral and fragrant nose with wafts of honeysuckle and jasmine. A fresh, spicy palate that's subtly aromatic and exotic, redolent of dried peaches and ginger. Semi-sweet and well-rounded, it continues to display the cool climate aspects of Darling. Paul Cluver Dry Encounter Riesling A vibrant wine with the classic Riesling flavours of spice and florals especially lime and white blossoms. The palate is lean, elegant and refined with a lingering aftertaste due to the good acidity of the wine.

5 WHITE BLENDS Glass Whalehaven Viognier/ Chardonnay Floral notes of white pear and orange blossoms. An elegant finish that develops in the glass. Nederburg Sauvignon Blanc / Chardonnay A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Lovely combination of freshness and complexity, citrus flavour with under tone of cream and vanilla. The wine has a medium body palate with good fruit and a long aftertaste. Sumaridge Maritimus This White Blend made of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Semillon, and Viognier strives for an exacting balance of fruit and acidity. The wine shows finesse distinguished by a mid palate weight and a lingering finish. ROSÉ Glass Delaire Cabernet Franc Rose Made from 100% free run juice, this unique Rosé displays flavours of ripe strawberries, cassis and candy floss with dark red berries and cream on the mid palate and a juicy, crisp and dry finish. Lemoenfontein Pino Taj Rose Beautiful pink color with accent of rose and strawberries. The palate is dry, full flavor with a hint of berries and violet note. Easy drinking wine.

6 CABERNET SAUVIGNON Glass South Hill Cabernet Sauvignon The wine has typical Cabernet aromas of black cherries and cassis together with well integrated toastiness imparted by the judicious oaking regime. The palate is fruit driven with juicy dark chocolate, clean, red berry fruit and a hint of vanilla. Warwick First Lady Cabernet Sauvignon The wine has a deep and intense ruby red colour. The bouquet reveals lots of red berries, sweet black currants and a pleasant herbal character, which is complemented by a sweet vanilla and chocolate oak background, the smooth, ripe, round tannins make this wine easy to drink while still retaining good structure. Bartinney Cabernet Sauvignon Vibrant and full bodied. The nose displays aromatic plum and dense cassis with a hint of mint. Classic oak characteristics like chocolate, cedar and roasted coffee beans compliment the blackberry fruit flavours. Le Riche Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve A classic vintage, the aroma has hints of mint, cherries and black fruits which are mirrored on the flavour. The palate s structure is firm and linear, yet smooth. A long lingering finish. This wine is drinkable already, but will benefit from a further 5-8 years of ageing CABERNET FRANC Vriesenhof Cabernet Franc % Cabernet Franc the wine underwent fermentation in new wood from Bordeaux coopers and was bottled after 18 months in barrel. A rich bodied wine with berry and cassis aromas. On the palate, the wine shows firm but elegant fruit with the wood as the support base. Raats Cabernet Franc This super elegant wine combines a core of luscious blackberry, black cherry, and plum with expressive notes of liquorice, tobacco, coffee and spice. Silky tannins caress the palate, with hints of dark chocolate.

7 SYRAH / SHIRAZ Glass Waverley Hill Shiraz This wine has an intense purple centre with a pinkish rim. Black cherry and sweet plum aromas are rounded off by the smoky and spice notes of the French oak. Subtle aromas of Cape fynbos and rosemary also come through on the nose. On the palate the wine has a soft entry and finished with white pepper and spicy notes. Produced from organic grapes. Cederberg Shiraz A multi-dimensional wine filled with intense red fruit, mulberry and cherries on the nose. Well balanced wine with elegant oaking expressing hints of sweet vanilla and mocha in the background. On the palate intense fruit flavours follows through leaving a silky smooth sensation on the palate.. Oldenburg Syrah The wine has a colour defined by deep, concentrated, crimson hues. Ripe cherries, violets and meaty notes characterize the nose. The palate is full of bright and juicy berry fruit; a subtle vanilla infusion, with wisps of mocha. The wine has a subtle but firm tannin structure which encases a succulent core, delicious berry fruit and tannin endures all the way to the finish. Groot Constantia CWG Reserve Shiraz A powerful yet elegant Shiraz with flavours of black currant, plums and raspberries combined with white pepper. Well rounded tannins give an elegant long finish on the palate. This wine is ready for immediate consumption but has very good maturation potential. MERLOT Glass Jordan Merlot Mature vineyards yield opulent fruit with plum, rich blackberry and mocha flavours. Framed by generously rounded tannins and spiciness from maturation in French oak, this wine is seductive from start to finish. Thelema Merlot Juicy, upfront red fruit and concentrated flavours with just the right amount of tannin. Hints of dark chocolate on the finish complete this wonderfully balanced wine. Anthonij Rupert Merlot Mulberry and blackberry aromas with a fynbos overlay. Richly fruited mouthful of plum pudding, christmas cake with spicy cinnamon and clove highlights. A cocoa element adds depth, concentration and interest but it remains posed and fresh.

8 PINOT NOIR Radford Dale Freedom Pinot Noir Pinot Noir should be all about finesse, elegance, balance and complexity. We love the minerality that pervades throughout the palate of this wine. Hamilton Russell Pinot Noir Our Pinot noir is not overtly fruity, soft and sweet and it generally shows hints of that alluring savoury primal character along with a dark, spicy, complex primary fruit perfume. Wonderfully dense, and complex, concentrated fruit flavours. Shannon Pinot Noir The grapes from three vineyards with different soils. Oak maturation has added vanilla to the layers of red and black fruit, wild berries and spice. PINOTAGE Beyerskloof Pinotage Reserve Full-bodied wine with deep purple colour. Dark berry and plum flavours are well integrated with the cedar flavours of the French oak. Southern Right Pinotage Southern Right is an intense classically styled, clay-grown wine, packed with complex berry fruit, beautiful tannins and subtle wood spice. Full ripeness, combined with complexity gives this wine a more classic structure. Flagstone Writer s Block Pinotage Writer s Block is a single vineyard Pinotage bursting with intense, unique wild berry characters and unctuous, velvety drinkability. Deep, dark purple colour, with lively bright purple edges. Intense, aromas of wild blueberry, mulberry and ripe cherry supported by smoky, spicy dark chocolate undertones. On the palate the wine is ripe and generous with a core of wild black berry, preserved plum and youngberry. Zonnebloem Pinotage 00 CWG Magnum 1.5 litre 580 Rich ruby violet. Prominent fruit aromas with traces of violets, cherries and chocolate. A medium to full-bodied wine with an abundance of fruit enhanced by a touch of spicy oak.

9 UNIQUE GRAPE VARIETALS Glass Terra Del Capo Sangiovese Hints of smokiness (cherry tobacco) combined with earthy mineral elements and rich fruit flavours such as prunes, apricots and peaches. This wine has an elegant tannin structure that ends softly with a slightly sweet sensation. The aroma and flavour are reminiscent of strawberry jam, prunes, dried cherry and raspberry with an earthy meatiness on the palate Wallovale Black Dog Malbec Displays an intriguing nose: a combination of ripe summer mulberries with some tobacco and a surprising hint of delicate fynbos. An explosion of berries follows onto the palate coupled with hints of cake spice and black pepper with a satisfying finish. This wine has all the natural elegance we have come to expect from the Elgin region. Blaauwklippen Vineyard Selection Zinfandel This wine entices with cinnabun and dry fruit aromas against a slightly peppery backdrop. The palate delivers a medley of intense dried - fruit flavours. Enjoy immediately or within the next 5-10 years. RED BLENDS Vuurberg Reserve A wine that is dark and brooding with lots of cassis and intense, spicy notes on the nose, with a firm tannin structure and a palate with the potential to evolve beautifully over the next 10 years. Zonnebloem Shiraz / Mourvedre / Viognier 06 NIWA 350 Colour is intense plum with a light orange rim. Sweet fruit and floral aromas with peppery notes, undertones of oak and spices. The palate is full, rich with a complex mixture of berry flavours and nutmeg, firm robust tannins and integrated wood flavours. Delaire Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot 03 NIWA % Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot, 16% Cabernet Franc Intense blackcurrant and minty nose, delicious nutty chocolate flavours and ripe rewarding tannins; two noble varietals harmoniously blended. Mont Destin Passione Shiraz, Cinsaut, Grenache Blend. Ripe, juicy redcurrant and blackberry fruit with hints of spice. Harmonious and elegantly crafted with complex, mouth filling flavours and a long, lingering finish.

Our dream is to produce wines which stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the great wines of the world. Nothing less. Vilafonté will only ever produce two wines. In the formative years, Winemaking Partner Zelma Long noticed that our vineyard was producing two distinctive styles. Both styles were of the highest quality, not one of them better than the other, but distinctive nonetheless. One portion of the vineyard produced a soft, rounded, fleshy and fruit driven style. The other side of our vineyard produced a bolder, more powerful and structured style. It was this realization that lead to the emergence of Series M and Series C. Series C Takes its name from the Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc which predominantly defines the style of this wine. The Series C style is that of a firm, powerful and concentrated wine, rich in fruit at release and blended for long aging. The Cabernet comes from our most potent blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon; the Cabernet Franc displays hints of violet flowers and elegance while the Merlot component gives it a velvety texture. Series C Series C Series C Series C Series M Takes its name from the Malbec and Merlot which predominantly define the style of this wine. Series M is sensuous wine with a firm core structure for aging. Malbec provides its black fruit aromas and fleshy texture, Merlot adds softness and red fruit aromas, and Cabernet Sauvignon provides structure. Series M Series M Series M Series M
