It begins with the theoretical part explaining the characteristics of the varieties and basic principles for blends, followed by a practical part in which trainees will make ur own blend. Visit and Tasting to Quinta do Vallado s Wine Cellars A journey deep into the heart of the Douro Valley. An immersive experience in the world's oldest demarcated wine region. You will have a chance to visit one of the region's most advanced wineries, where you can witness state of the art technology and jaw-dropping architecture. We'll take you through all the processes grapes are subject to, from harvest to bottle. Visit also the barrique cellar, where our best wines are ageing. At the end of the tour, you'll enjoy a tasting of a wide range of wines, including whites, reds and ports.
