3 ARGENTINA 3 Santero Malbec Mendoza Plenty of ripe, soft berry fruit flavours with the usual hint of g 5.30 spice associated with malbec as well as cinnamon and vanilla notes from a touch of oak ageing. 4 Luna del Sur Malbec Aromas with sensations of fresh fruit and jam. In the mouth, g 5.87 it is quite balanced and fresh with mild and gentle tannins, as well as medium concentration, that make it very easy to drink. 5 Portillo Malbec, Valle de Uco, Mendoza Plums, blackberries and a touch of vanilla; fresh fruit flavours, g 6.68 supported by a touch of spice. 6 Graffigna Malbec Deep red with purple hues. Complex dark berry aromas f 6.33 highlighted with delicate black pepper and toasted notes. Aromas of herbs, grass, yellow plum, green pepper and a zippy lemon acidity.

FRANCE 26 Cave de Masse Cinsault-Grenache Rose Delicate aromas of summer-berry fruits with i 4.58 a soft finish. 27 Cave de Massé Carignan-Merlot e 4.58 Red, Pays d Oc A soft, easy drinking red made from popular Southern French varietals. 28 Cave de Massé Colombard-Ugni Blanc Dry White, a Vin de France A crisp, dry and delicate white made predominantly from the aromatic colombard grape. 29 Cave de Massé Colombard-Ugni Blanc Medium j 4.58 Dry White, Vin de France Made to a medium-dry style this is a very easy drinking wine for those that like a touch of sweetness.

Ever popular. 34 Rosé d Anjou, J. Tourville A good example of this well-known medium-dry rosé from the i 5.93 central Loire made from the Grolleau grape. This wine reflects the Louis Jadot style, being silky textured yet full of plump fruitiness. 41 Sancerre La Fuzelle, Adrien Maréchal A classic Sancerre, full of crisp ripe acidity and gooseberry fruit b flavour from this excellent producer based in the hill-top town of Sancerre. 42 Château La Fleur Plaisance, Montagne Saint-Émilion Traditional Claret, harvested entirely by hand, and made to give f 9.95 a full bodied, soft Merlot-based wine with a complex ripe bouquet. 43 Pouilly-Fuissé Les Ancolies, E. Loron et Fils c The wines from the chalky soil of this well-known appellation in the Mâconnaise are in great demand for their classic, fuller style. 44 Château Lamothe-Cissac, Cru Bourgeois Haut-Médoc An excellent château where the blend is typical for the region f usually 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. Traditionally vinified and aged in oak barriques. 45 Mâcon Rouge, Louis Jadot A Gamay led blend with a small quantity of Pinot Noir to add f 9.30 complexity. Vinified in stainless steel and bottled young to retain freshness and fruit. 46 Château Haut Roudier, Bordeaux This Claret, which is 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, f 6.10 is soft, easy-drinking wine with blackberry, cherry and raspberry flavours. GERMANY 47 Liebfraumilch Rheinhessen, J Brader Light, medium-sweet with a bouquet of apple and pear with c 5.40 citrussy notes. 48 Piesporter Michelsberg, J Brader Light, elegant aromas of ripe nectarine mixed with a touch of c 5.40 fresh wildflowers; from the village of Piesport in the heart of the Mosel region.
