1 ABOUT WHICHWINERY WhichWinery is the world s first winery based, social, search site that connects each winery s unique qualities with user preferences, allowing users to find wineries, track their visits, share their WHICHWINERY experiences and continue to learn about the world of wine. THE BACKGROUND You ve decided to visit wine country this weekend. You re looking for wineries that have a view, are family friendly, offer Chardonnay and are located close to your hotel =? VIEW FAMILY FRIENDLY CHARDONNAY CLOSE TO HOTEL Which Winery should you visit? In some form or another, we ve all been there. Your visits to wine country carry different requirements depending upon the region you re in, the crowd you re with, what kind of wine you re in the mood for the list goes on. Without an online source where you can input your custom requirements and find wineries that match your search, you re left to your own devices to pour through endless winery lists of static data, compare with online maps, and look at each winery website individually to confirm they have what you re looking for. The time it takes to plan your weekend rolls on and on We thought there has to be a better way. So, we built it! Aptly named WhichWinery, the site aims to answer the age old question Which Winery should I visit? By providing users with the tools to plan a visit to wine country, we give them back their valuable time that can be better used raising a glass and enjoying all that wine country has to offer.
2 THE WHICHWINERY EXPERIENCE By selecting custom search criteria, users are presented with wineries that best match their requirements allowing them to discover new wineries for every occasion. But the experience doesn t stop there! WhichWinery encourages users to track their winery visits (remember where they ve been and what they tasted), share experiences with other users (trade tips, view other users experiences) and continue to enhance their knowledge of wine by learning via content produced by industry experts. 3 OVERVIEW CURRENT LAY OF THE LAND In 2015, WhichWinery.com launched in beta, with a focus on supporting wineries by providing them with an advertising platform to create their profiles and expand their brand recognition worldwide. The site is free to use and the sign-up process is simple: Register, submit your profile and begin to market your winery socially to start gathering analytics on user experiences. With over 20,000 wineries across 47 countries, and growing weekly, we are on our way to achieving our goal of being the leading global winery-based search site. 20,000+ WINERIES in 47 COUNTRIES WORLDWIDE SUPPORT STAFF Come September 2015, WhichWinery will open the flood gates to allow wine lovers to use the site and be able to customize their search by specific criteria, resulting in finding wineries that match exactly the kind of wine-related experience they are looking for.
