It also has bags of tingling acidity rounded off with a touch of sweetness to create a deliciously light and versatile wine. Pinot Grigio, La Delfina, Italy Crisp, dry and refreshing wine with a touch of petillance. Viognier, Domaine Gayda, Pays d Oc, France Lovely flavours of apricot, peach and acacia blossom. Castillo del Moro Airen/Sauvignon, Castilla, Spain Fresh, tangy and citrusy white. Hidden Bay Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand Lively grass and gooseberry aromas with notes of lemon and asparagus, crisp and refreshing, great intensity of zesty fruit flavours. Dönnhoff Riesling, Germany Fresh, crisp mineral qualities with a long lingering ripe finish. Sancerre, Domaine Cherrier, France Made by the father and son team of Fernand and Sylvian Cherrier who own 11 hectares of land around the village of Amigny, about two miles from the town of Sancerre in the Loire Valley. This is a traditionally styled Sancerre grown on chalky soils that shows the typical Sauvignon Blanc characteristics of gooseberry and blackcurrant fruit backed up by fine minerality. It has freshness, delicacy and rosescented charm all the way through. Red Jacques Charlet, Fleurie Les Florines, France A classic nose, slightly gummy, but with lots of ripe raspberry and blackcurrant notes. Château Haut-Gaudin, 1ères Côtes de Bordeaux, France Great example of the appellation showing clean rounded fruit and well judged semi toasted oak. Côtes du Rhône, Domaine Rose-Dieu, France Lovely fruit-driven Rhône with a touch of pepper and spice. La Linda Malbec, Mendoza Deep and rich with cherry and spice well integrated with oak. Navajas Rioja Tinto, Spain This is Rioja at its precocious youthful best, with intense raspberry and black cherry fruit overlaid with a flourish of vanilla and coconut. It is beautifully balanced with medium weight and cushioned by fine grain tannins. Rooiberg Pinotage, Robertson, South Africa Rich, mature oak-aged wine. Burlesque Zinfandel, California, USA Soft, delicate and fruit-driven style with hints of berries and spice that packs a punch. Fabulous! Chianti Fortebraccio, Italy % Sangiovese from very best of la Pieve s vineyards; this is monumental Chianti with powerful fruit and tremendous finesse. Côte de Nuits Villages, Bertrand Ambroise, Burgundy, France Dark and rich with deepish black fruit and forest floor flavours. Good structure and berry notes make this an excellent and classic Villages wine. Massaya Classic Red, Lebanon A partnership between two Lebanese brothers and two well known French wine makers has produced a stunningly rich wine with good complex spicy fruit and Christmas cake flavours.

Luscious yet delicate rose petal scented wine of great character. Port Niepoort L.B.V., Portugal Stunning rich and complex port. Warres Quinta de Cavadinha, Portugal A wonderful single vineyard vintage port showing big fruit and strong colour. It has almost nine years in bottle.
