3 VALLE FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL IS THE NOT-TO-MISS CULINARY EVENT OF THE YEAR Visit the Valle de Guadalupe for the most exciting (and delicious!) day of the year: The 2nd Annual Valle Food & Wine Festival, featuring a starstudded line-up of chefs, including Netflix Chef s Table stars Nancy Silverton and Dominique Crenn, celebrity chef Rick Bayless, Top Chef Jonathan Waxman, Michelin-starred Michael Mina and Drew Deckman, Baja superstars Benito Molina and Javier Plascencia, as well as over 25 of the region s most celebrated chefs. The Valle Fest also features a curated selection of the top local a winemakers, craft brewers, musicians, artisans, and artists. The 2018 festival consists of three events. 7 FRIDAY, OCTOBER 5: WELCOME DINNER AND FUNDRAISER 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM / CAPACITY: 250 GUESTS This exclusive cocktail party and dinner, prepared by Baja superstars Drew Deckman and Javier Plascencia, and Top Chef Master, Jonathan Waxman, is a rare opportunity to rub elbows with the world-known chefs and winemakers that will be participating in Saturday s festival. The festivities will honor Chef Rick Bayless, Mexican food ambassador to the world, and groundbreaking Baja chefs Benito Molino and Solange Muris, and will announce a lifetime achievement award to a local winemaker to be announced at the event. A live auction and raise-the-paddle hosted by celebrity auctioneer Billy Harris will benefit Corazón de Vida Foundation, which has been providing life- changing support and education to orphaned and abandoned children in Baja California for 25 years.
