2 ality High Qu uit! AVA Fr VINEYARD SOURCES 30% Chardonnay Piziali Vineyard in Chalk Hill AVA 70% Chardonnay Lodi AVA 30% of our fruit comes from Piziali Vineyard in the Chalk Hill AVA, Sonoma. The AVA is named for the chalky white ash that is volcanic in origin, which characterizes the soils. Piziali is distinctive by its size (only a 5-acre lot) and its Northeastern facing direction, which makes it slightly cooler, thereby allowing the grapes to hold on to their acid. And even more importantly our printer even recycles the label waste through a local partnership where they turn it all into egg cartons! FRENCH BARRELS MADE IN THE USA All of our barrels are made from French oak staves but are made right here in the USA.
