4 The Daiquiri Conceived c.1890s by Jennings Cox, an American mining engineer staying in Cuba this is the perfect cocktail to illustrate rum s individual style and the influences it has on the most basic of ingredients (his original recipe is shown opposite). This is shown best in our house Daiquiris (numbered 1 5), for which we have chosen the Havana Club rums the quintessential light Cuban rum! For all our Daiquiris, we use only the best Persian limes (freshly squeezed daily), and make our own sugar syrup, normally to a 1:1 ratio. We have experimented with various rums and ratios of sugar syrup to come up with a collection of the best rum Daiquiris from all over the Caribbean and the Americas! HOUSE DAIQUIRIS ALL PRICED AT Nº1 Floridita s special blend of rums shaken with fresh lime juice and sugar syrup. Nº2 Floridita s special blend of rums shaken with fresh lime and orange juices, sugar syrup and a hint of orange Curaçao. Nº3 HEMINGWAY SPECIAL Floridita s special blend of rums shaken with lime juice, sugar syrup, grapefruit juice and Maraschino liqueur. Nº4 Floridita s special blend of rums shaken with fresh lime juice, sugar syrup and a hint of Maraschino liqueur. Nº5 Floridita s special blend of rums shaken with fresh lime juice, grenadine syrup and a hint of Maraschino liqueur. -4-

5 These Daiquiris are some of our own in-house recipes PINK PEPPER CANCHACHARA : Element 8 Platinum rum and Element 8 Cacao rum shaken with lime juice, homemade pink pepper & pineapple syrup. 5-STAR DAIQUIRI : Plantation 3-star rum shaken with lime and sugar, served with a lime foam. JAMAICAN SPICED DAIQUIRI : Appleton V/X rum shaken with lime, cloves syrup and egg white served straight up and sprinkled with toasted cinnamon. BRITISH DAIQUIRI : Pusser s Navy Blue rum and Kam & Sons British aperitif shaken with lime juice, sugar syrup, fresh pineapple and mint. LA BRUJA DAIQUIRI : Brugal Anejo rum, Martini China, Angostura bitters and a dash of absinthe. FUEGO MANZANA : Cubay Carta Blanca shaken with lime juice, apple juice, apple liquer and homemade chilli syrup. -5-

6 Rum lovers FLORIDITA RUM&COKE : Floridita s special blend of rums stirred with homemade cola syrup. TREACLE Nº2 : Plantation 5 stirred with maple syrup, sweet sherry and Angostura bitters. TI PUNCH : Trois Rivieres Blanc and Trois Rivieres 5 year old rum mixed with lime and demerara sugar. PRESIDENTE : Cubay 5 years old and Cubay 10 year old rum thrown together with a mix of bitters, Italian Vermouth, Orange Curacao and grenadine. TOBACCO OLD FASHIONED : Cubay 5 year old rum and Zacapa 23 year old rum stirred with sugar, Angostura bitters and homemade tobacco bitters. KINGSTON V.P. : Appleton 12 year old rum stirred with demerara sugar, port, Italian Vermouth and Angostura bitters. -6-

7 We got the funk ITALIAN SUMMER : Number 3 Gin, Campari bitters and Carpano Antica Formula, shaken with lemon juice, apple juice, fresh raspberries, and a dash of sugar. GET YOUR FREAK ON : Wray & Nephew Overproof Rum and XTA Liqueur mixed with lime juice, cranberry juice, orange bitters, and topped up with Ting. BOB : Stolichnaya Elit Vodka shaken with Mandarine Napoleon, sugar and citrus juices. SWEET KISS : Hennessy Cognac, Dupont Calvados and Grand Marnier mixed with fresh berries, lemon juice and sugar. BAD BOY : ABA Pisco and white wine shaken with lemon juice, sugar and fresh grape juice. BACK TO NATURE : Coffee and honey infused Element 8 Platinum Rum stirred with fig liqueur, Mandarine Napoleon and Cocchi Americano Vermouth. -7-

8 Exotic fun MAI TAI : Appleton 8-year-old, Appleton V/X, Wray & Nephew overproof rum shaken with lime juice, sugar, Triple Sec and orgeat. WE ADVISE A MAXIMUM OF TWO ZOMBIES PER PERSON, PER VISIT. ZOMBIE : Blend of Plantation rums; spiced rums, Skipper rum and Wray & Nephew overproof rum, shaken with falernum, cherry liqueur, La Fée absinthe, grenadine, lime juice and grapefruit juice. PINA COLADA : Brugal Anejo rum shaken with Koko Kanu coconut rum, pineapple juice and cream, served in a pineapple. DEMERARA DRY FLOAT : SERVES 2 Element 8 Platinum and Santa Teresa Gran Reserve rum shaken with lime, lemon, passion fruit, Luxardo Maraschino and sugar completed with a thick float of Skipper rum. NAVY SWIZZLE : Pusser s Navy Blue, Pusser s Spiced and Overproof Rum swizzled with lime juice, absinthe, Angostura bitters, sugar, Triple Sec and Velvet Falernum. DARK & STORMY : Gosling Black Seal Rum mixed with lime juice, ginger beer and Angostura bitters. -8-

10 Sharing is caring Celebrating with a group, maybe just a couple or just plain thirsty. These cocktails have been created to share. Each serves 4 8 people and are 70 each. FLORIDITA S SECRET CHEST CAPTAIN s MUG Brugal Extra Dry Rum, Brugal Anejo Rum and Number 3 Gin shaken with lemon juice, sugar, raspberries, apple juice and rosemary infused Aperol, all topped up with Prosecco. A large serving of Pusser s Navy Blue Rum shaken with Mandarine Napoleon Liqueur, Coco Real Coconut Cream, orange juice, lemon juice and sugar, all topped up with soda water. CUBAN SPECIAL HURRICANE Cubay Carta Blanca, Cubay 5 year old rum and Cubay 10 year old rum shaken with grenadine, passion fruit syrup, sugar and lime juice, finised with sparkling wine.

DUMBO Ultimate Big Rum Smash Appleton 8, Wray & Nephew, and Koko Kanu shaken with Amarula Liqueur, orange juice, pineapple juice and Coco real coconut cream. Plantation White and Plantation 5-year-old shaken with Velvet Falernum Liqueur, Plantation overproof rum, honey syrup, fresh mint and lemon juice, served over ice in a skull.

TOMMY S MARGARITA : Herradura Blanco tequila shaken with lime juice and agave syrup. CLOVER CLUB : Tanqueray gin shaken with egg white, lemon juice, sugar and raspberries. NICOTINI : Finlandia Grapefruit Vodka, shaken with Aperol, lime juice, honey syrup, grapefruit juice and homemade tobacco bitters. KNICKERBIKER : Plantation 3 Star rum shaken with lemon juice, orange Curacao, homemade raspberry syrup, raspberries, pineapple juice and fresh lemons. RUSTY NAIL SOUR : Johnny Walker Black and Drambuie liqueur shaken with lemon juice, sugar, and egg white, served with burned bitters. -12-

13 Aperitif OLD FASHIONED : Woodford reserve bourbon or Santa Teresa 1796 rum, stirred with sugar and Angostura bitters. MANHATTAN : Bullet Bourbon or Rye stirred with Vermouth and bitters, can be served sweet, dry or perfect. MARTINI : Belvedere Vodka or Tanqueray 10 gin stirred with a hint of Dry Vermouth, can be served with olives or a lemon twist. NEW BOULEVARDIER : Bullet Rye infused with orange and vanilla, stirred with apple-infused Campari, and sweet Vermouth. CARIBBEAN NEGRONI : Brugal Carta Blanca stirred with Carpano Antica Formula and Aperol. BORN BITTER : Kamm & Sons Aperitif stirred with Aperol, Angostura bitters, absinthe, Cocchi Americano Vermouth and Maraschino Liqueur. -13-

MOJITO : Floridita s special blend of rums mixed with mint, lime juice and sugar syrup, topped up with soda. CUBA LIBRE : Floridita s special blend of rums mixed with lime and lengthened with cola. MILANESE SPRITZ : White wine, rosemary-infused Aperol, and St. Germain Elderflower liqueur shaken with bitters and topped up with soda. MAMA RUSSIA SMASH : Zubrovka Vodka and Canton Ginger Liqueur shaken with mint, fresh ginger, lemon, lemon grass syrup and cranberry juice. -14-

15 Neat flavours DARK CHOCOLATE AND FIG MANHATTAN : Dalmore 15 Whiskey stirred with bitters, chocolate liqueur and fig liqueur. MULATTA : Cubay 5 year old rum shaken with Mozart chocolate liqueur, lime juice and sugar syrup. MARY PICKFORD : Brugal Carta Blanca shaken with lime juice, pineapple juice, grenadine and Maraschino Liqueur. AZTEC SAZERAC : Don Julio Reposado tequila stirred with a mix of bitters and sugar, served in a glass doused in absinthe. BLOOD AND SMOKE : Caol Ila 12 year old whisky mixed with grapefruit juice, cherry liqueur, tobacco-infused sweet vermouth and a mix of bitters. PEPPER AND PINEAPPLE MARTINI : Columbian Gin-infused with pink pepper, stirred with dry sherry and homemade pineapple and pepper syrup. -15-

16 Champagne & Sparkling BELLINI : Fresh peach puree and Prosecco married in this frappe cocktail. Invented by Giuseppe Cipriani in 1948 at Harry s Bar in Venice. Named after the painter, Giovanni Bellini, who had an exhibition in Venice at the time. CLASSIC CHAMPAGNE COCKTAIL : An Angostura soaked sugar cube, laced with Cognac and charged with Champagne. FRENCH 75 : Tanqueray gin and Maraschino liqueur, stirred with lemon juice and sugar syrup, charged with Champagne. Named after the French 75-millimeter guns, this Champagne cocktail was created during the first World War by American army officers. The original recipe called for gin, calvados and absinthe (now illegal in the United States). RUSSIAN SPRING PUNCH : Zorokovic vodka and berries liqueur shaken with lemon juice, sugar and fresh raspberries, topped up with sparkling wine. BITTER BOBBLE : Kamm & Sons British Aperitif, No 3 Gin and Campari shaken with lemon juice and sugar all topped-up with sparkling wine. RUMMY SPARKLING PUNCH : Pusser s Navy Blue Rum and Brugal Anejo shaken with peach liqueur, lemon juice, sugar and Maraschino Liqueur all topped up with sparkling wine. SERVES 2/3-16-
