Our Dining Rooms with log fires are perfect for private functions for up to 20 guests. Don t miss our Christmas Party Nights which are renowned for fun and frivolity when you join with other parties to make a really great atmosphere! We would be happy to arrange a private Party Night for your Company or organisation for a minimum of fifty guests just ring us for a choice of dates. With our special Play n Stay rates for accommodation from just per person including full Yorkshire breakfast, we can save you the worry of driving, the hassle and expense of booking taxis or of seeking a volunteer to drive! Our residential Christmas and New Year House Parties are very popular - there s no better way to celebrate these special times of year than enjoying fine food and wines, relaxing in the lounge with a log fire and magazines, enjoying friendly and welcoming service and simply taking time with friends and family.

6 The Best Party Nights in Town Our Christmas Party nights are the best way to celebrate the Festive Season, joining with other parties to ensure a buzzing atmosphere! We ve a great Christmas menu with something for everyone, our resident DJ playing your favourites until midnight all in a magical Christmas setting. Our December Party Nights will take place on: Friday 8th and 15th December Saturday 9th and 16th December Sunday 10th and 17th December Should you wish to book a private mid-week Christmas party for your company (minimum 40 guests) just give us a ring for dates. The mid-week price for a private Dinner & Dance is per person. Party Night timings: 7.00pm arrival with dinner served at 7.30pm The price includes a three-course dinner menu (pre-orders required by 1st December so we can complete place cards with individual menu orders), crackers, rocket balloons and dancing through to midnight. For groups of 10 and more the lay-out will be long tables. Play n Stay rates per person Sunday - Thursday per person Friday & Saturday Sharing twin or double room, including full Yorkshire breakfast and VAT.

It s a lovely place to get together with friends and family with roaring log fires to set the scene as you enjoy a pre-lunch glass of champagne. You can explore the delights of the City of York, the surrounding countryside out to the Yorkshire Dales and even to the beautiful North Yorkshire coast. Arrive on Christmas Eve for a welcoming cream tea in the lounge, there s a sparkling wine reception before dinner this evening, and then on Christmas Day you ll enjoy champagne before our Christmas Day lunch. This evening we ll serve a Yorkshire buffet supper at 7.00 to round off the day. Boxing Day is your last day with us there s racing at Wetherby or even just a little shopping at the Designer Outlet which is very close by! You ll enjoy a lovely dinner this evening in the restaurant. Our three day programme is just per person We do not charge a supplement for double rooms for single occupancy over the Christmas season, We have some lovely four posters and deluxe rooms at a supplement of just per night. Arrive early from 20th December or stay longer until 29th it s a special rate of just each to include dinner and breakfast, per night. Children are welcome and sharing parents room (max. two children) up to the age of 14 years will be charged at 50% of the adult rate. We have one accessible bedroom on the ground floor of the hotel. 12 Stay away for our relaxing New Year House party! Our New Year break is a relaxing affair, with a splendid Gala Celebration for New Year s Eve. You can stay with us for either a two-night or three-night break. There is so much to explore when you come with us - the City of York with its history and heritage, York Minster, the City Walls, fabulous Museums the Railway Museum and newly re-opened Jorvik Museum after a multi-million pound refurbishment shouldn t be missed. The price includes dinner, bed and breakfast each night, whilst on New Year s Eve there a Champagne reception before the Gala Dinner with dancing through until 1.00am. Where s the year gone...
