11 Rhonda s Pecan Pie 1 /2 c. Butter, melted 2 Eggs 1 c. Sugar 2 1 /2 T. Cornstarch, mixed with the sugar 1 c. Light Corn Syrup 1 tsp. Vanilla 2 c. Pecans, chopped Whisk together the melted butter & eggs. Add sugar/cornstarch mixture, corn syrup and vanilla. Mix well after adding each ingredient. Stir in pecans. Pour into unbaked 8-inch pie shell. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 1 hr + 15 minutes. Pie will rise and top will begin to crack about 1 inch from edges when done. Pie will finish setting as it cools.
