6 Traquair House Brewery Who could ever imagine finding a centuries old brewery intact in the basement of an historic mansion near the border between Scotland and England? Resurrected in the 1960s by Peter Maxwell Stuart, the 20th Laird of the Manor, Traquair House Brewery has a pedigree like no other. The Laird s Ales, beers with pedigree, brewed with skill, passion and noble tradition in the Scottish Borders. Today Catherine Constable Maxwell Stuart, the 21 st Lady of Traquair, manages this most aristocratic of microbreweries, located in Scotland s oldest continually inhabited house. 7 Our Avon *Collection, one of our mixed cases: it consists of 6 x 4 bottles each of different organic craft beers, a range created by our talented brewers in the Scottish Highlands. Our depot and mixed cases Our warehouse in Lausanne is an old wine cellar, with constant temperature and conditions ideal for beer storage. KeyKeg Slimlines The KeyKeg system protects the beer, facilitates its transportation and prolongs its life cycle. This unique one-way system ensures the products are never exposed to propellant gases. The technology also guarantees optimal protection during filling, loading, transport and storage. Storage conditions in our depot, a former wine cellar, are ideally suited for looking after beers constant low temperatures, no air currents, and never any direct sunlight.
