CARPET PROTECTOR PROTECT THE CARPET $6.50 RESISTANCE CARPET PROTECTOR Resistance Carpet Protector is the latest technology in short chain fluorochemicals and the latest generation of dye blocking with acid dye resistors. Resistance Carpet Protector provides superior performance in stain resistance. 1:6 COVERAGE: Up to 5600 sq. ft. LOW PRESSURE SPRAYER APPLICATION 1. Mix1 part Resistance Carpet Protector to 6 parts water. 2. Apply with #8004 jet nozzle at a rate of 400 to 800 square feet to one gallon at psi. The coverage will depend on pile and density of carpet fibers. Low pile commercial carpet 800 sq. ft. per diluted gallon where heavy pile residential carpet requires 400 sq. ft. per gallon. 3. Apply evenly over entire carpet surface making sure to over lap, then brush back and forth and side to side, fully working protector into carpet fiber. 4. To prevent material accumulation in spray equipment, clean after each use with fresh water. IN-LINE SPRAYER APPLICATION FOR TRUCKMOUNTS 1. If using Revolution Hydroforce Sprayer simple set your adjustment nozzle to 6 and the sprayer will automatically dilute at 1:6 rate no mixing necessary. For Non-Revolution Hydroforce sprayer make sure you replace metering tip with 1:6 tip and the sprayer will automatically dilute at that ratio no mixing required. 2. Reduce pressure at truckmount outlet to 300 psi. The coverage will depend on pile and density of carpet fibers. Low pile commercial carpet 800 sq. ft. per diluted gallon where heavy pile residential carpet requires 400 sq. per gallon. 3. 7 HYDRO-FORCE METERING HYDRO-FORCE PRO Injection Sprayer PRO Injection Sprayer METERING Your solution hose pressure affects how much chemical is drawn from an injection sprayer. Higher pressures decrease the ratio of chemical to water and lower pressures increase the ratio of chemical to water. To ensure your dilution ratios are accurate, use the chart to determine what metering tip to use at your specified pressure. Your injection ratio may also change depending on the viscosity (thickness) of your concentrate chemical. The 1 to 8 ratio is based upon chemicals with a viscosity similar to water. The injection ratio can also be slightly affected by your main flow water temperature. This generally only changes the dilution ratio slightly, however. To change metering tips and dilution ratios, remove the clear tube at the bottom of the injection valve and remove the metering tip by turning counterclockwise. Insert the new tip and replace the tubing. Be sure that the screen filter is present at the end of the tubing. Read the dilution instructions of your chemical, then add the chemical full strength to 5 quart container. Your chemical will then be diluted automatically at the ratio specified in the charts below based on your PSI and metering tip. If the recommended dilution ratio does not match exactly to a metering tip, choose the tip that is closest and slightly adjust your rate of application by moving the sprayer faster or slower.
