1 Day Four! I hope you are doing great after three days of juicing. Congratulations! The last two days of this Detox program, we are going to introduce some blended drinks as well. This will make it easier for you to go back to eating solid foods, and will still be alkalizing and cleansing. If you feel like juicing for a few more days, go for it, and simply extend the program for a few days. Remember how amazing you are! Emotional cleansing Our emotions are directly connected to our physical bodies. The body, the mind, and the soul cannot be separated. Old emotions and memories are stored in every cell of the body. The conscious mind might forget, but the body does not. Anything suppressed and stored in the cells will surface as we cleanse the physical body. Old memories might arise, and emotions like anger, guilt, grief and frustration might surface. Use your journal to write down how you feel. Work with it and see if it is showing you something about your life. Is there someone you need to forgive? Is there something you need to let go of? You might also have strange dreams. Write them down and know that it is all as it should be. Just be in the process. Trust it and allow. 1

2 Lavender essential oil is amazing for calming and balance. Most likely the most popular oil out there. Lavender has been cherished and loved for its well know aroma and therapeutic properties for thousands of years. It is mostly used for its calming and relaxing qualities, as well as it`s all-round healing energy. You will find it is widely used in soaps and shampoos. The Egyptians used it for mummification and as a perfume. The Romans used it for bathing, cooking and for scenting the air. Essential oils have great healing powers and can be a great asset to any healing and detoxification protocol. Before breakfast, drink a glass of water with the juice of half a lemon. If you have access to fresh coconut water from young coconuts, feel free to have some during the day, especially after a workout. 2

3 Breakfast-Juice: (About I Liter/32oz). 4 stalks of celery. 1 large cucumber. 2 green apples. 4 carrots. 1 peace of ginger (use 1-2 inches.) 1 whole lemon. ¼ broccoli. If this is too much to drink in one setting for you, take the rest with you to go, in the car, or on the bus. Depending on your morning routine, making everything ready the night before, can save a lot of time. Go over the juices that you need to make for breakfast and lunch, and prepare the fruits and vegetables. Store them in an air tight box in the fridge overnight. Lunch-Juice and blended drink: Make one juice and one blended drink to go. Make sure they are both stored airtight. You can use a glass jar or a glass bottle for the juice, and a thermos for the blended drink. Drink the juice first, depending on your breakfast time, between am and am. Follow with the blended drink about an hour later. Juice: 1 cucumber. 4 stalks of celery. 1 green apple. 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder. ½ teaspoon of chili powder or garlic powder. Blended drink: 2 cups tender leafy greens. 1 mango 2 bananas ½ cucumber 1 kiwi 1 handful of fresh cilantro 1 cup of water. (Add more water if you feel it is too thick) 3

4 Dinner blended drink: Drink your blended drink around 16.00pm to 18-00pm. If you are going to do any kind of exercise, drink it before that. After the workout, drink lemon water or coconut water. If you can get fresh coconut water from young coconuts, that is a great after workout drink. 2 cups of leafy greens. 1 cup of berries. Use what is in season or what is your favorite. 1 handful of fresh basil. Juice of one lemon. Juice of one orange. 2 bananas. 1 handful of ice cubes. (Add more ice if it is too thick). This should fill you up! If you need to substitute any of the ingredients, make sure you add some leafy greens with the high sugar fruits. Maybe you want to serve the whole family a dinner smoothie? Get out the nice glasses, decorate them and celebrate! Late night Juice: 3 stalks of celery. 1 red pepper. 1 green apple. Remember that you can make some warm drinks at night also. You can put some honey and lemon in a cup of water, with some cinnamon on top. Congratulations! You have finished day four of your 5-day Detox Program! 4
