Recognising that sport and recreation are an essential part of Australian life, the offers a number of sub clubs in which members can get involved, building a positive self image of participants, through improving their wellbeing and of course, having fun! We have sub clubs for Lawn Bowls, Pool, Darts, Netball, Golf, Swimming, Carpet Bowls, Vietnam Veterans and Social Travel. The Bowls, Swimming and Netball sub clubs all have dedicated coaching programs and each of the sporting sub clubs have regular training and grading sessions, catering for everyone, from raw beginners to the more ambitious enthusiast. Several groups of families are sub club members, emphasizing just how suitable the clubs are for all ages and the community spirit involved. The assists clubs by hosting presentation nights for each club annually, and provides discounted food and beverage packages, as well as donations and raffle prizes. All sub clubs welcome members seeking information on their sport or social activities. For sub club contact details see page 5 of this newsletter. Letter from the CEO The BIGGEST game in town is coming this April! Colossus is a larger than life promotion where Members will have the opportunity to Swipe their cards daily for a chance to win one of the prizes from our great Colossus showcase. This is no small promotion Members with our showcase totalling prizes in excess of $5, So come in for your chance to WIN!
