4 PRODUCTION Slaughterings (number and production) PIG SLAUGHTERINGS IN BELGIUM In the number of pig slaughterings sank to 11.2 million, around 7, units less, in comparison to 215. PIG SLAUGHTERNGS IN BELGIUM The production of pork fell slightly in and amounted 1.6 million tonnes. This lead to a 6% decrease compared to HEAD CATTLE AND VEAL SLAUGHTERINGS IN BELGIUM In the number of cattle slaughterings rose to almost 55, animals. The calf slaughterings increased as well, namely by 3% compared to 215.
