2 2 The company s profile The brand MALONGO is the premium brand on the French market. The company was created in 1934 and has been roasting coffee beans as well as serving luxury restaurants and hotels with premium Arabicas over decades. First player being involved in the Max Havelaar label, MALONGO has been promoting ethics and fair-trade philosophy in the industry since Jean-Pierre Blanc, a charismatic CEO For over 40 years now, the company has been run by Jean-Pierre BLANC, an inspiring leader, who made the company go through decades by leading innovation. From the quest of new markets such as HoReCa (1968) and retail industry (1980) to commercial innovation with the launch of new products (1980), the company grew bigger under its patronage. He also launched a training center, coffee-shops and E-commerce. Jean-Pierre Blanc brought a vision to a small southern roasting company. The concept THE COFFEE-SHOP named MALONGO L Atelier Barista is the quintessence coffee culture. Inspired by the roots of the roasting gold, the concept brings together: Luxury with premium products and traditional know-how. Organic coffee (beans, grounded, pods) along with tea ranges. Long-lasting positioning with a more technical approach. Key figures 334 employees. 102 million Euros turnover. 7,400 tones of green coffee imported and roasted. 74 different origins of coffee from 30 countries.

Our clients are luxury hotels and restaurants in Paris and in the French Riviera (Fouquet s, Le Meurice, Le Plazza Athénée, Le George V, etc) as well as international food and beverage & hotel groups (Accor, Louvre Hotels, KFC France, La Croissanterie, etc).
