Ramos Jesse Camacho Whole Peeled Tomatos Olam-Casa Fresca to ConAgra-Angela Mia.xlsx Follow up Flagged Hi Lori, It has been a while since we've talked. It's hard to believe that the school year is already winding down! I have some information for you on whole peeled tomatoes. Due to a nation wide allocation from many suppliers on WHOLE PEELED TOMATOES ONLY we will be sourcing product from ConAgra in order to cover our volume until next year's pack. As you may already know, the pack season for all tomato canners was pushed out 4 weeks last year. While the crop produced plenty of raw, the amount of fruit that could be used in the whole peel process was limited because of the ripening conditions, hence the allocation on whole peeled only. Pending your approval, we will begin loading auto converts (from Olam/Casa Fresca to Conagra/Angel Mia) on whole peeled tomatoes. We still have inventory on Olam/Casa Fresca that should take us through the next 2-3 weeks. I have attached a conversion matrix for you to review. All pricing will remain the same. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like a sample before approval. Thanks, Sara Steffey Bid Coordinator Labatt Food Service ext:8337 ssteffey@labattfood.com 1

Attached is documentation for the discontinuation. We do stock a comparable white pepper from Durkee, however, the cost does not come close to the original Tex-Spice item. Attached is a conversion matrix. Keep in mind that there are black pepper packets and bulk black pepper on bid, but I have added the white pepper Durkee item to the order guide in case a school must have white pepper. Please let me know if you would like to explore any other options. Thanks, Sara Steffey Bid Coordinator Labatt Food Service ext:8337 ssteffey@labattfood.com 1
5 Tex spice Tex spice PO Box 8 Devine, TX Fax Vikki@texspice.net Victoria Kezar General Manager Date To Tex spice customers: Effective January 1, 2012 there will be price increases on several of our products. The two primary factors causing this rise are the continuous rise in fuel prices, and the continued pricing fluctuations in the commodity market. First, fuel prices not only affect the cost of shipping and receiving products, but also the containers used for packaging. Plastics are a petroleum based product, and therefore the costs of these jars have been subject to increases in relation to fuel prices. Additionally, due to the dramatic changes in some spices, we will no longer carry the following products: 1. Cloves 2. Nutmeg 3. White Pepper Tex spice is a non profit 501c3 corporation that serves mentally handicapped adults for all of Medina County. We have made every effort to keep our cost down, and prices steady for several years. This is the first significant price increase in over two years on various products. We will continue to strive to keep our costs and pricing steady for the 2012 year. Sincerely, Victoria Kezar General Manager

We will still be able to offer the same pricing with True Brew. I have attached the conversion matrix for you to review. Please let me know if you would like samples before we make any changes.
