7 OUR ORGANIC TEA FARMS Shangyu Organic Tea Gardens: Quality Chinese tea blends from a strictly organic environment Established in 1992, our farmland is operated by tea experts with more than 30 years experience in harvesting a wide range of organic teas using traditional Chinese tea preparation methods. Location: Shangyu Graham Organic Tea Gardens is located North-eastern region of Zhejiang Province PRC. Between Hangzhou, Ningbo and Shanghai. Size: 80 hectares (198 acres or 800,000 sqm) Capacity: 300 Tons Certified Organic: 1998 IMO Operation: Shangyu Graham farmland has been in operation for 16 years, producing certified organic teas since Climate: Shangyu is located in the north subtropical southern edge of Zhejiang province. It receives the East Asian monsoon climate with four distinct seasons. The region sees ample sunshine, a mild climate and plenty of precipitation. Topography: Highlands and mountain slopes of Zhejiang Province. Harvest Frequency: 3 harvests - spring, summer and fall.
