2 Simorgh s.n.c is a company who import high quality saffron directly from Iran. With an exclusive agreement with Torbat Heydereh Khorassan s Farm, we are offering high quality goods at competitive price without any interposition nor brokerage. Our products are attached with certificates and chemical analyses approved by the Agricultural Ministry of Iran. As a result, we could import tons of fresh saffron and provide all kind of the produce such as powder, pistils, metal box packaging and customized requests.

3 Mission The necessity of importing a high quality product is born from the awareness that there is a yearly consumption of 300 tons of saffron in the global market, 3 of which expended in Italy. Being a really fascinating and fine product, saffron is normally offered to the consumer without any qualitative warranty. On common saffron packaging the good description is often generic and is referring to how the product is presented, pistils or powder. Qualifying the product is paramount in order to give to the buyer the accurate information of what he/she is purchasing. Saffron certification is expressed in degrees from to 4 where is the first-rate category. Simorgh import and dispense only first grade saffron and its products are defined by a triple A (AAA) which defines the excellence of the product. The company also import high quality niche saffron which is called Negin first flower characterized by extraordinary grade.

4 SAFFRON The botanical name of saffron is crocus sativus and it is made by using the pistils which are the external part of the flower. The active principles have their origin on the quantity of crocin (coloring power), safranal (aroma). Those substances are defined under the group of carotenoids, antioxidants par excellence. Defined as the king of antioxidant, saffron contains vitamins B and B and many natural aromas. As a results, this superb spice is used in the pharmaceutical industry as antidepressant, anti-stress, anti-inflammatory metabolism regulators and in the making of drugs against cancer. Furthermore, saffron is beneficial to the cardio circulatory system and it has aphrodisiac properties. Saffron is a natural product with multiple qualities and it can be utilized in making various food recipes.

The main purpose of the system is to make sure that company products meet the specified needs in related standards. Quality of products is controlled according to ISO -and -59 & -59 international standards. Is a ranking based on the least needed qualities of saffron. Measurable elements in saffron Quality Control are very important including: Crocin( for color), picrocrocin (flavor), saffronal (aroma). The more the amount of these elements, the higher the quality of saffron. We enclose the results of spectophotometric experiments for our clients to show them the quantities of crocin( coloring power), picrocrocin( flavor) saffronal( aroma). In addition, Iranian Standard Certificate, as an official organization for Saffron quality analysis. Products of HINO saffron company pass different experiments in our labs.
