I visited this natural emerald this summer for the first time. It is a gathering of mountains with beautiful lakes and springs, and unique plants and rare animals. I greatly enjoyed being surrounded by Yunnan s untouched natural resources. I was most interested in the 51 different nationalities all living together. 2 AAA Im ports August 2006 Page 2 Planter of the Month 60% Off List Price Chocolate Banana Pie Diffi culty: Easy Prep Time: 10 minutes Yield: 8 servings INGREDIENTS 2 to 3 ripe bananas 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese 1 (15-ounce) container ricotta cheese 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Crystal's 3/4 cup cocoa powder Whipped cream Recipe Dried banana chips, crushed White chocolate, shaved, optional for garnish 4 (1-cup volume each) 4-inch diameter mini pie crusts (graham cracker or shortbread) DIRECTIONS In a mixer combine bananas, cream cheese, ricotta, sugar and vanilla and mix well. Slowly beat in cocoa powder to avoid dry pockets. Pour into shells and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Top with whipped cream and banana chips. Top with shaved white chocolate, if desired Serving tip: Instead of mini crusts you can serve in a martini or other cocktail glass.

This was our fi rst year attending the show there. This is a really big event. There are over 1,000 vendors that attend the show each year.

items we will have available. While we were in Atlanta we got to do a little sight seeing. One of the places we got to visit was the Georgia Aquarium.

They have over 8 million gallons of fresh and marine water, and more than one hundred thousand animals representing 500 species from around the globe.

3 AAA Im ports August 2006 Page 3 Planter of the Month 60% Off List Price 45 Carry Over Fun in Atlanta 2006 As many of you know Crystal and I were out of the offi ce from July 13-19th. We were both attending the AmericasMart home and gift show in Atlanta, Ga. This was our fi rst year attending the show there. This is a really big event. There are over 1,000 vendors that attend the show each year. The AmericasMart building consists of 3 large buildings each with about 15 fl oors. Each fl oor has a variety of products from Home Furnishing, Pet Products, Gift, Lawn & Garden Products and a variety of many more lines. As you know we will be opening our DecoGallery store soon so at the show we had a booth located in the garden section where we displayed many of our new items we will have available. While we were in Atlanta we got to do a little sight seeing. One of the places we got to visit was the Georgia Aquarium. This is known as the world s largest aquarium. They have over 8 million gallons of fresh and marine water, and more than one hundred thousand animals representing 500 species from around the globe. Our favorite animal was the whale shark. All four were named after the cast from the Honey Mooners: Alice, Trixie, Norton and Ralph. Of all the whale sharks Ralph is the largest weighing 1900 to 2000 pounds and 20 feet long and Alice is the smallest at 14 feet and 1,000 pounds. This is a really great experience for all ages and we highly recommend that if you re in Georgia to stop by to see it. Tammy & Crystal

Although Yunnan is located in the lower latitude, it s climate is governed by high elevation. The highest mountains are 6740 meters tall (that s 22,242 feet high!). Yunnan has great mountains and deep gorges, tranquil lakes like a shining diamond, beautiful grassland like green velvet carpets, and pastureland with cows and sheep. It is an Adventurer s Dream.
