Fill in the jobs on the worksheet. 3. Mrs. Dalto Attendance & Benchmark Review of recipe and kitchen safety Preheat oven 400 Muffin pan preparation: Place muffin cup liners in the muffin pan Prepare STREUSEL TOPPING: Put 2 Tbsp. flour, 2 Tbsps. brown sugar, dash of cinnamon, in a bowl and mix with a fork. Add the 1 Tbsp. butter and mix with a fork until crumbly. Set bowl aside Measure Dry Ingredients: Put 1 cup flour, ¼ cup sugar, 1 tsp baking powder, ¼ tsp salt in a bowl. Mix with a spoon. Liquid ingredients: In another bowl put 1 egg, 1/3 cup milk, and 2 Tbsps. vegetable oil. Beat with a fork. Set aside. Mixing the batter: Add the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir until the dry ingredients are wet. Batter should be lumpy. Do Not stir too much!!!! Batter into muffin pan: Using an ice cream scoop, scoop the batter into the muffin cups. Streusel topping onto muffins: Sprinkle the streusel topping onto the muffins. Place muffins in oven set timer: Place the muffins into the oven for 20 minutes.
3 NAME: MUFFIN REVIEW SHEET PERIOD DAY Answer the following questions. Muffins are called breads. is used to make the muffin rise. Ingredients for the muffin batter should be put into two separate bowls. One bowl for the ingredients and another bowl for ingredients. Muffin batter should be not smooth. Fill the muffin cups of the way full with batter. Check for doneness of muffins by inserting a into the center of the muffin. To measure liquid accurately use a measuring cup and read it at level. To measure flour, it into a measuring cup and use a straight edge spatula to off. Brown sugar should be firmly. When inverted It should its shape. You can use a fork to beat the ingredients. The abbreviation Tbsp. stands for. The abbreviation tsp. stands for.
