2 SUBCATEGORY GLOSSARY VACANCY: 1. Yes The site is undeveloped. 2. No The site is developed with a completed structure or a building under construction. USE: 1. Residential The structure is inhabited as a dwelling or domicile. 2. Non residential The structure is not used for residential purposes or as a domicile. 3. Mixed Use The structure is occupied by both residential and non residential uses. 4. Not in Use The structure is not occupied by either residential or non residential uses. TYPE OF STRUCTURE: 1. Single or Two story The building has one or two floors. 2. Multi story The building has three or more floors. 3. No structure STRUCTURAL CONDITIONS: 1. Occupied The building is occupied with active residential or non residential uses. construction. (i.e., no roof, no walls, no C of O) 2. Unoccupied There is an existing and inhabitable building on the property site, however there appears to be no occupants. (i.e., foreclosure, no tenants, economic distress, etc.) 3. Abandoned / Disrepair The building is uninhabitable and potentially has no occupants. (i.e., fire, structural damage, flooding, physical distress, etc.) 4. Under Construction There is a new, incomplete building currently under construction. (i.e., no roof, no walls, or no C of O) 5. Closed for renovation Existing structure is being renovated, but is not currently occupied. Active construction is taking place. 6. No structure. STREET ADDRESS: The numeric address assigned to the building. STREET NAME: The name or number of the public right of way on which the building is located.

Other food service RESTAURANTS / FOOD SERVICE CRITERIA: American Restaurants: The criteria used to classify American restaurants included locations that offered a variety of foods that were not ethnic, but comprised different styles and meals. These included juice bars, bistros, steak houses, ices, barbecue, cafes, bistros and general restaurants. American restaurants were classified as such in that they generally specialized in the service of one or two meals, had limited hours of service, offered sit-down food service, and American fare. Burgers: A food service venue was classified as a burger restaurant if the majority of sales or it s main focus is hamburgers. Criteria includes expanded hours of service, limited menus, fast food venues, and counter service. Coffee Shops: The criteria used to classify coffee shops were venues that primarily focused on serving coffee or tea beverages, offered seating, and served limited meals. Coffee shops were determined to be open during morning and afternoon hours, but did not serve dinner. Diners: The criteria used to classify diners were restaurants which generally were open around the clock, offered sit-down meal service, had extended menus, had counter seating and served all meals at all hours. Donuts Shops: The criteria used to designate a food service location as a donut shop included a high percentage of sales based on donuts, the availability of sit-down service, the availability of a food service counter, and around the clock food sales. While small meals are available, the majority of sales are donuts.
