2 Welcome to The Northwick Hotel Congratulations on your forthcoming marriage, and thank you for considering The Northwick Hotel to celebrate your special day. The privately owned Northwick Hotel is a former 18th century coaching inn close to the centre of historic Evesham, Worcestershire. The Northwick Hotel has plenty to offer for your special day. The Hotel is situated on the banks of the River Avon perfect for capturing those special wedding photos, and also provides everything that you and your families will need to make your wedding day the most perfect day ever. Our function room can cater for parties up to 120 people with its own private bar and easy access to the courtyard at the front of the hotel. All the information that you require for your big day is in this pack. For more information and to book a show around at the hotel then please ring to make a convenient appointment. 3 To Make a Booking To make a provisional booking you may visit, telephone or with details of your names, address and telephone number, date of the intended event as well as an approximate number of daytime and evening guests. Once availability has been confirmed, the Hotel will place your booking on a provisional hold for 7 days and will write to you confirming the details. After this time, unconfirmed booking may be released by the Hotel. To confirm a booking a non-refundable deposit of 500 is required, along with a signed copy of the Hotel s Booking Terms and Conditions (can be found at the end of this booklet). At this stage, the Hotel requests that you advise us on any rooms that you may require us to book provisionally for your guests. These will be booked under the Bride and Grooms name until the Hotel has confirmation of guest names. Payment may be made in a series of amounts, but full payment for the event is required within four weeks of your wedding party. Guest Accommodation The Northwick Hotel offers a variety of rooms to suit your needs. All of our 28 rooms are en-suite with small home comforts such as Free WiFi Flat screen digital TV, Tea & Coffee facilities, Hair Dryer, Room Service, Freshly laundered towels and Complimentary toiletries. Many of our rooms have beautiful views either overlooking the River Avon or looking out onto the Hotels Courtyard. Our recently refurbished VIP suite is of course complimentary for the Bride and Groom Room prices, including a Full English Breakfast, are from: Single rooms Double or Twin rooms or Deluxe Double rooms Family Rooms

4 The Function Room Room Hire The Hotels function room The Monroe Suite caters for parties of 40 up to 120 guests. The Monroe Suite has a fully licensed bar which serves a wide variety of beers, wines and soft drinks. The Monroe Suite is on the ground floor and has disabled facilities. We allow you to dress the function room with flowers, balloons, table decorations to your taste. There is plenty of room in the Monroe Suite to have a disco where you can dance the night away to your favourite music. We can recommend a DJ and sound system for your party or you can arrange for own. We can also offer seat covers at an extra cost. The Northwick Hotel has many years experience in hosting weddings & Special Occasions, so you can be sure our dedicated team will guide you through your special day and attend to your every need. Our Restaurant has a fabulous team of chef s, so you can be sure that whether you have one of our tasty finger buffets or one of our banquet meals, your food will be prepared with the freshest produce and with greatest care. Our experienced team will deliver the highest standard of service to ensure you get maximum enjoyment from your special day. 11 TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING YOUR WEDDING AT THE NORTHWICK HOTEL The hotel will require Final details & Full Payment No Later than four weeks before the event. Any amendment should be received in writing. Cancellation and Postponement of Booking - Cancellation or postponement of the event will result in following charges becoming due. In each case the percentage is based on the advanced notice of cancellation given and applies to the estimated total cost of booking: Between 26 and 12 weeks before the event is due to take place: 25% Between 12 and 4 weeks before the event is due to take place: 50% From 4 weeks to event date: 100% Cancellation by the Hotel - The Hotel may cancel the booking at any time without liability to the Client if: a) Any part of the Hotel is closed or unable to operate for any reason beyond the Hotels control. b) If we become insolvent, or in the case of an individual, becomes subject to a bankruptcy petition. c) The booking the person associated with the booking and/or the purpose of the event might damage the reputation of the Hotel or the company. The Hotel will endeavour to replace a cancelled event and if in doing so may waive any cancellation charges. Corkage - No wines, spirits or beverage may be brought into the hotel or grounds by or on behalf of the clients or any guests for consumption on the hotel premises unless prior consent of the hotel management has been obtained, for which charges will be made. Damage - The client shall be responsible to the company for any damage caused to the allocated rooms, of the furnishings, utensils and equipment therein or to the hotel generally by any act, default or neglect of the client or subcontractor, employee or Guest of the client and shall pay to the company on demand the amount required to make good or remedy such damage. Guests, Clothing and Personal Property - The Company does not accept responsibility for the property of the clients or its guests. Cloakrooms are provided for the convenience of clients and guests, but any goods deposited in the cloakrooms or left unattended on the hotel premises are deposited at the owner s risk and without any liability on the part of the company.
