2 A warm welcome in the beautiful Styria. For the second time already we offer this Tango holiday in Styria with Martin La Bruna & Andrea Bestvater. This time in autumn during the grape harvest in the golden month of October. We are looking forward to Martin & Andrea, because they teach with great passion and charme. The tango lessons take place either in the morning or in the afternoon so that you have enough time for excursions. In the evening we dance in the pleasant ambience of our hotel. The dance hall has 140 square meters and an excellent parquet floor. Our hotel is situated in St. Ruprecht an der Raab, just 30 minutes drive from Graz and in the heart of Eastern Styria. This region is a landscape full of harmony and hidden beauties especially in autumn during the grape harvest. Everywhere fashioned Buschenschenken, countryside inns and small wineries invite you to linger and offer regional products. There are many possible excursions, for example to the nature park Almenland, to the hilly Vulkanland with the castle Riegersburg or to the South Styrian wine street. By the way: The Genusscard Steiermark is included in your trip price and offers free entrance on your excursions. Enjoy & Relax in our charming "Gartenhotel Ochensberger": In the spacious garden, there are many lovingly designed terraces and relaxation areas, and a large natural swimming pond. Wellness is available in over 1000 square meters large vitality area "Steierness". Culinary discoveries are also possible at any time during the day in the à la carte restaurant or in the modern wine bar lounge. We start the day with a hearty breakfast - if you like also on the beautiful terrace. We can expect a buffet with homemade jams, fresh fruit, cereals, fine egg dishes, a large choice of sausages and cheeses, cakes and regional Styrian breads. Of course, the famous Styrian pumpkin seeds are used in all variations. In the evening a three-course menu with salad buffet awaits us. A vegetarian selection is also available. After dinner, our milonga starts in the hotel premises. Our Tango hall offers with a surface of 140 square meters and parquet floor enough space for the Tango lessons and the milongas. There are three room categories to choose from. The "Raabtalzimmer" are about 22 square meters. They are comfortably furnished with carpenter quality natural wood furniture and their modern look ensures freshness and comfort. The sleeping area with indirect daylight influence is spatially separated from a small, bright comfortable living area. The closet / cloakroom area is tight. The bathroom is modern with glass elements. The Raabtal rooms are located directly above the dance haal on the same level as the spacious spa area, which is thus easily accessible. The "gourmet rooms" are a bit larger as they offer a larger bathroom and a more spacious sleeping area. They are located in the annex and are connected via a direct transition to the spa and the main house. The "natural rooms" are about 26 square meters and are also new and very comfortable in French country style with parquet floor. You either have a balcony or a terrace with nice garden furniture and a view of the apple orchard. Arrival and departure: Arrivals should be on Monday until 18:00 (6 pm). The courses start on Tuesday and end on Saturday. On Sunday there is no course, so that after breakfast the return journey or an extension can be started. 5 Tango Tango with Martin and Andrea: Martin La Bruna and Andrea Bestvater live in Buenos Aires and have for several years spent a few months every year in Europe. Their teaching is characterised by humour and the tangible joy of imparting their highly aesthetic Tango-style. The attention they give to each individual couple always makes participants feel like they're the centre of their interest. For Tango beginners they provide a sound working base with excellent didactic/teaching structure. Martin La Bruna and Andrea Bestvater teach in English.
