2 The Function Room Our function room is completely exclusive to you and your guests. It has its own private built in bar, separate washroom facilities and a private balcony. The room itself offers you ipod connection, a pull down screen and wide-screen TV for any slideshows, as well as wireless microphones. The room can accommodate up to 150 standing and 120 people seated.

6 Terms & Conditions Please be advised that when booking a function at the Bentleigh RSL you are accepting our terms and conditions set out below. Bookings and confirmation: In order to book the Bentleigh RSL function room you must hold a financial membership with our club. To confirm your booking we require the room hire fee of $150 within 14 days of making a tentative booking. All bookings will remain tentative until such time that a deposit is paid. Cancellations: Should your event be cancelled within 21 days of the function date, all deposits shall remain the property of the Bentleigh RSL. Menu Selections: All food selections must be confirmed, and paid for, at least one week prior to the event. Should numbers decrease in this time, a charge for the food per person will be made for the original number that is confirmed. Payment: - There is a minimum spend amount of $1000 for food and drinks inclusive - If you are offering a bar tab, a credit card must be put behind the bar at the commencement of your function. - Full payment of beverages is required on the date of your function. - If security is required for your function, a cost will be incurred. - The Bentleigh RSL accepts payments in cash, EFTPOS or credit card. Electronic bank transfers can also be arranged in advance.(food only) Responsible Service of Alcohol: - The Bentleigh RSL reserves the right to refuse entry and/or service to any person causing damage, harm, injury and/or disruption to any other person or item. This includes intoxication. - No person shall be allowed entry into the venue if they are under the age of 18 years, unless they meet the requirements set out under our liquor licensing agreement.

7 Club Rules: - A list of guests names and addresses can be given to the club in advance, otherwise all guests will need to sign the visitors register before they enter the venue. - Cakes must be store bought no home made cakes are allowed on premises. - The Bentleigh RSL does not cater to 18 th Birthday Functions - In the case of a 21 st Birthday function an additional fee of $200 is required for security costs as well as a $300 bond which will be refunded at the conclusion of the function (providing there are no damages incurred upon the room) - Entertainment: The Bentleigh RSL reserves the right to control any entertainment, including the type of entertainment, volume and start and finish times. We also reserve the right to cease entertainment at any stage if the customer does not comply with our direction at any time. Please remember that regardless of whether you are planning a function or simply attending the venue as a member of the public, management has the right to refuse entry to any patrons.
