5 Animal Experiences Wildlife Live 800 Experience a dynamic flight show featuring raptors from all over the world! Birds soar overhead while you learn about their history and amazing adaptations. Shows are 30 minutes, with a 15 minute flight and a 15 minute meet-and-greet featuring three or four birds. Flights are weather- and location-dependent. Hooded Vulture Donation Station 300 Boost your fundraising efforts by adding Pierre the hooded vulture to your event. He will collect and deposit donations from your guests! The collection session is an hour, and the zoo provides a donation bin. Animal Encounters 200 per animal Get up close and personal with up to three of our animal ambassadors! An animal expert will introduce you to each animal, provide natural history information and answer your questions. See below for the types of birds, mammals and reptiles that may enhance your event. Every effort will be made to meet requests for specific animals and your event coordinator will confirm which animal will be present prior to your event date. Scheduling an Experience Animal experiences are booked on a firstcome, first-served basis, with a minimum of two weeks notice. Encounters are thirty minutes. Multiple encounters must be booked consecutively. To ensure the health and wellbeing of the animals, zoo staff may remove them at any time. Due to food safety guidelines, no active food or beverage service may take place during animal experiences. Outdoor experiences are weather dependent.
