1 50 th Class Reunion of the 1966 North High Vikings September 9 th, 10 th, 11 th, 2016 Greetings from the North High Class of will mark 50 years since we walked those hallowed halls of North High School! We have decided to do this reunion a la carte so that you may enjoy all of the events or a few. We are also assembling a directory of classmates, so that you may be able to stay in touch or just find out what everyone has been up to. Please send us a brief bio of yourself, that we may add you to the book whether you can attend or not. We are also inviting the classmates from 65 and 67 to join us. Friday, September 9 th : Willis Case Golf Tournament Tee time: 9:00 am $60/pp We are limited to 28 golfers (classmates 65, 66, 67 and significant others) the price includes green fees and carts. Come out and enjoy the Willis Case Golf Course with your classmates. We will have closest to the pin and long drive holes as well as other prizes. OR Friday, September 9 th : Brown Palace Hotel Tea Luncheon/Tour 12 noon-1:30 pm $50/pp Remember the Beatles coming to Red Rocks in 64 and staying at the Brown Palace Hotel (did you go downtown to try and get a glimpse of them from the street in front of the Brown? Lenore Valentine and Donna Tinker did!) Come join us for the Brown s Signature tea (scones, finger sandwiches and tea pastries) a lecture about the Brown s history and hauntings with a tour of the hotel. Price doesn t include parking, but if you are interested in joining us you can either car pool down from Willis Case with some of us and share the cost (around $4/pp) or take the light rail downtown (around $3/pp) and the free 16 th Street shuttle to the Brown.

2 Friday evening, September 9 th : Casual gathering at Willis Case Golf Club 5:30 pm $20/pp Price includes a buffet Taco Bar: Includes seasoned ground beef, shredded chicken, lettuce, tomato, onions, shredded cheese, sour cream, hard corn shells, soft flour tortillas, tortilla chips, guacamole and fresh salsa and unlimited lemonade and iced tea. There will be a cash bar. Saturday, September 10 th : Nostalgic Bus Tour of our roots in North Denver - 9:00 am $30/pp (Meet at North High: turn on 32 nd Ave either from Federal Blvd or Zuni and the parking lot is between Eliot and Clay) Travel the area s elementary and junior high schools that fed into North High and take a trip down memory lane. Price will include the bus tour, a guided tour book and lunch at North High with a tour to see all the changes and relive some of those fond days! The guided tour book will also be sold separate for those unable to join us on the bus tour for $5.00/per book. Lunch is a Pizza and salad buffet. Saturday evening, September 10 th : Business Casual Dinner at Lakewood Country Club 6:00 pm $50/pp Price includes dinner buffet, program and entertainment with a band and dancing. The dinner buffet is: Seasonal Greens with Condiments and Dressings, fresh seasonal fruit display, sliced medallions of Beef with mushroom gravy, sautéed Chicken Chardonnay, grilled Salmon with pineapple butter, vegetables, roasted potatoes and dessert. There will be a cash bar. Sunday, September 11 th : Casual Potluck lunch at the Retreat at Solterra 1-5 pm $10/pp* This is a wonderful place to end our great weekend together. Share photos of previous reunions. Visit and enjoy great food to share. The Retreat at Solterra: from C-470 coming either direction, take the Alameda Pkwy exit and go east up the hill to the top/light (look for the purple and gold balloons) and turn right on S Indiana St (between the two stone pillars). Go down the hill to W Evans Ave (look for those balloons) and turn right, the parking lot is in front of you and there is also a circular drive for drop off at the door and parking on the rim road as well. *The price includes the rental and cleaning fees for use of the facility.
